The EHR system allows healthcare practices to set up and manage auto-reply messages for unsolicited text messages, ensuring patients receive timely and appropriate responses during unexpected office closures or after-hours periods.
The color options under Standard Preferences > Orders/Results have been updated for the following result types:
• New Lab Results
• Changed Results
• Out of Range Results Printed
• Out of Range Results
These enhanced options now align with the color selections available in Flowsheets, providing a more consistent and customizable visual experience across the system.
An 'Emergency Contact Type' dropdown has been added to the Emergency Contact section in Patient Registration. Patients can also complete this field during check-in.
The dropdown values are pulled from General Codes File Maintenance > Contact Type, and include a hardcoded 'Other' option. When 'Other' is selected, a textbox appears, allowing users to enter a custom contact type.
When an immunization is ordered, and either the immunization itself or its associated lot number has an expired expiration date, the system will now display an alert on the Schedule, Details, and Log Immunization pages.
A new Common Reports category has been added to TriMed Inform, displaying the top 20 most frequently used reports from the past 60 days across the entire practice.
The E&M control now allows providers to select both Preventative and Problem-Focused procedure codes simultaneously.
When both are selected, A&P diagnoses are automatically assigned based on the following logic:
Z00 codes are linked only to the Preventative procedure code.
Non-Z00 codes are linked only to the Problem Focused procedure code.
If the user clicks ‘Combine Plans’ in the A&P control, any non-Z00 ICD codes associated with the Problem-Focused code will also be applied to the Preventative code.
Additionally, users can manually override the E&M CPT code by selecting a different option from the dropdown.
The RAF Score API calculates a patient’s risk score based on age, gender, dual status, institutionalized living, and active problem list ICDs. Scores are recalculated every 30 days upon opening the patient chart. Users can edit the ‘Status’ and ‘Institutionalized Living’ fields that call for score recalculation. Scores are recalculated when a problem list record is added, deleted, or edited. The RAF Score is displayed in the chart header, ICD Summary.
The Lab Handout chart item streamlines the process of how providers review and share lab results with patients. It provides a clear, concise view of lab results, making clinical conversations more effective and patient-friendly.
A new Preventative Visit History widget option has been added to the Portal. To enable this feature, go to PPAdmin > Appointments > Miscellaneous.
Once enabled, the Preventative Visit History widget will appear on the Portal home page, displaying the patient’s previous preventative visits from the past three years. If a patient has had more than six preventative visits during that period, the widget will display only the most recent six entries.
Please note that this data is derived from Charge History—specifically based on CPT codes beginning with 993—and is not pulled from Appointment History.
