An Emergency Contact Type dropdown has been added to the Emergency Contact section in Patient Registration. This field is also available for patients to complete during Check-In.

The dropdown values are pulled from General Codes File Maintenance > Contact Type, and include a hardcoded “Other” option. When “Other” is selected, a textbox will appear allowing users to enter a custom contact type via free text.
