The all-in-one Assessment and Plan allows for simplified documentation and a way to display this information in a more meaningful way.  With the ability to link predefined plans to specific diagnosis codes, adding an assessment and plan has been made easier and faster.

Supervising Provider - Incident To Billing

Incident to billing allows non-physician providers (NPPs) to report services “as if” they were performed by a physician. TriMed Complete allows capturing the Supervising Provider (Provider submitted on the claim) along with the Performing Provider (NPP performing the billable service).

Under the Incident to billing rules, the Supervising Provider must be present upon the premises where a service is performed. As such, the Supervising Provider may change day to day. TriMed Complete allows setting the Supervising Provider upon login and then using the Supervising Provider for all superbills created for the day. Meanwhile, the performing provider (Secondary Provider) will always be set to the logged-in user/provider (typically the NPP).

Selecting Reserve Insurance on Appointment Booking

If a patient has a Reserve insurance plan, the user will be able to choose which insurance should be linked to the appointment while in the booking process. There is not an Pat. Ins dropdown on the left hand side. If the patient has a Reserve plan, the dropdown will be blank, forcing the user to choose an insurance. If the patient does not have a Reserve plan, the dropdown will default to the patient's primary insurance.

Visit Reason Templates

Visit Reason Template allows the clinical to take various previously templated values and apply them to a single template based off a reason. Visit Reasons combine the ease of the Review of Systems, Physical Exam, and Assessment and Plan templates to create the most efficient use of TriMed Complete notes. By linking the various templates to a Visit Reason, notes can be quickly documented as well as pre-selected order, procedure, prescription, and patient education documents.

Passing NDC Data for Chart Item Charges

Within the EHR a practice can choose to enter in the NDC, Unit and Unit Type data for Immunization, Test Codes, and Injection. Previously, the system only passed in the NDC for CPT codes beginning with J.  First, this feature it must be enabled in Global Settings:

Then, in Immunization, Test Code and Injection Admin enter the Associated NDCs, Unit Type and Dose per Unit. Note: For Immunizations the information entered into 'Dose' will be used for Unit and Unit Type.

This information will then get passed through to the Charge Posting Interface and included on claims.
