'All' Option on Patient Search

Within Chart Print users can now search 'All,' allowing them to view patients who meet their search criteria regardless of their status (Active, Inactive, Test Patient, or Temp Active). Inactive and Temp Active patients will be displayed in orange.

The 'Temp Active' status temporarily allows users to access and work in a patient's chart. A nightly service automatically reverts this status to 'Inactive.'

**Business Case** This feature is particularly useful when a patient is no longer with the practice but the practice needs to access their chart temporarily (e.g., to print records). The Temp Active status eliminates the need to make the patient active for such tasks.

Immunization: Lot Management: Warning Threshold

A new 'Warning Threshold' option has been added in Lot Management Admin.

By default, the system will warn users when the quantity on hand falls below 10. However, practices can now customize this threshold. If the practice enters a 'Warning Threshold' count, users will be alerted when the immunization inventory quantity drops below that specific number.

Restricting Manual Entry in Lot Management

A new permission, 'Admin Module: Immunizations_Use Lot Management Scan Only,' has been created. This permission will be unchecked by default.

When the permission 'Admin Module: Immunizations_Use Lot Management Scan Only' is enabled, the fields on the Lot Management tab are non-editable.

When the user scans the vaccine lot information, the system automatically populates the Lot Number and NDC fields with the scanned data. If the scanned values in these fields contain at least four characters, the system will enable all lot management fields for manual edits.

If users manually reduce the Lot Number or NDC Number to less than four characters in entry or edit mode, all fields will be cleared and remain non-editable.

Disable Patient Ability to Choose 'None' on eStatements

The Patient Portal Admin billing page under the Billing Site header now has a new setting: 'Disable patient ability to choose ‘None (Receive paper statements).'

When the setting is enabled, the Statement dropdown will exclude the ‘None (Receive paper statements)’ option and display only three options ‘Email & Text,’ ‘Email,’ and ‘Text’. The label will read: ‘This account is enrolled in paperless billing. Please contact the practice if you do not wish to receive paperless statements.'

Note: If the ‘Disable patient ability to choose ‘None (Receive Paper Statements)’ setting is enabled but the patient setting was already set to ‘None (Receive paper statements),’ the dropdown will continue to show this option with the label: ‘To enroll in paperless billing, select how you would like to receive your notifications’.

Once the patient updates their selection, the ‘None’ option will no longer be available in the dropdown. At that point, the label will change to: ‘This account is enrolled in paperless billing. Please contact the practice if you do not wish to receive paperless statements.'

Auto-Build Feature on Blue Boxes

The 'Auto-Build' feature is now available on all blue boxes. To enable this feature on a blue box, check 'Show Auto-Build Options' within the textbox property.

Then, when the user fills out the note, they can change the blue box to a textbox by clicking the 'Auto-Build On' label.

The user can enter free text in the field, but the data entered will not update in the patient chart other than on that field. For example, if the user updates the 'Allergy' field, the free-texted allergy will appear in the Allergies on the patient's chart. Additionally, if the user toggles Auto-Build again, the data entered while free-texting will be lost.
