A date filter has been added to the right side of the screen on both the Check In and Check Out tabs. This allows users to know at a glance what date is being viewed and allows them to quickly navigate between different dates.
If the Referral chart item is set to Referral In then the system will now require an Authorization # and Date before the user can save the referral.
If an Auth # is not needed, then users can override the requirement by clicking the No Auth # checkbox on the referral:
Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) is a method of authentication that requires a user to have multiple points of data in order to log into an application. TriMed Complete offers the ability to turn on MFA for users logging into the EHR. Once enabled, users will need to authenticate with both their password and the token sent to their SMS enabled mobile device.
The Appointment Prep registration page will now automatically exclude Cancelled appointments.
A Specialty Provider column has been added to the Referral Tracker widgets.
The ability to filter the widget by Special Provider has also been added within the widget settings.
When using the Add Forms option within the Check In tab a Search box has been added allowing users to quickly find the form they are looking for without scrolling through a list.
Many practices utilize TriMed's Check In module as well as sending appointment confirmation texts/emails. There are times when patients will then complete the Check In process, but have not responded to the confirmation message. Some practices will consider this as a confirmed appointment.
To handle this scenario an option has been added to Check-In Admin called 'Mark appointment confirmed once the patient completes Check In'. When enabled if the appointment has not already been marked Confirmed, then once the patient has completed checkin in the appointment confirmation will be updated to 'Confirmed via check in'. The practice should add the appointment confirmation type to General Codes File Maintenance within the Practice Management.
When the user preference 'Default Collection Date to Today's Date' is enabled and an order is added the Collection Date/Time will automatically be inserted with the date and time the order was created. Previously, the system only inserted the date.
Sending notifications is an integral part of practice workflow. Previously, notifications were assigned to specific teams. In the latest TriMed Complete version, the ability to assign notifications to users rather than teams has been added. This capability has also been added to a Quick Note so that Quick Notes can either be sent to a team or an individual.
