Prescription templates for Other Provider can now be managed in Prescription Template Admin. These templates can be used when entering in common Current Medications for patients. A practice can also copy their existing templates to the Other Provider as well.
For most clinicians, the Assessment and Plan information represent two key data points from an encounter. The features described below aim to make this data easier to review within the patient chart.
Oftentimes when patients have chronic conditions or other items listed in their ICD Summary there is a history behind those items such as the patient seeing specialists or having other tests done. Although the system still has the ability to link chart items to a Summary entry, users will now have the ability to add notes (also known as annotations) to individual entries.
TriMed Complete introduces an enhanced growth chart option. The advanced growth chart provides additional user options, more data on changes between plot points, zooming options and a trend line.
When a patient note has a Confidential tab added, the note in the chart will also display the confidential note icon.
Within Chart View Preferences an option has been added for 'Bold Logged in Provider'.
When enabled and a provider views a chart all chart items (whether signed off or not) will display the providers name in bold as a way to draw attention to that providers items.
When allergies are displayed anywhere in the chart and the allergy has an allergy category linked (meaning it will be checked for interactions) then it will be underlined in red. This will help clinicians know which allergies are being checked for an interaction.
Users now have the ability to filter a chart by Document Type.
On the left hand side of the chart under Search there is a tab for Document Type. The list in the dropdown displays only the document types the patient currently has in their chart.
Clicking a Document Type will automatically filter the chart to the selected Document Type and will chose the pop up.
Clicking the filter icon next to the CHART tab will remove the filter and again display all chart items.
The Queue Viewer has become an integral part of a user's workflow. TriMed Complete now offers the ability to see the Queue Viewer from the homepage. This new option will allow users to see a number indicator of how many faxes have failed inside the fax queue.
Within PPAdmin there is now an option to 'Display logo in Patient Portal'.
When enabled the logo will be displayed on the Dashboard and in the eStatement and TriMed Pay screen.
