On Portal medication refill requests, we have added the ability to 'Send Denial + New Rx To Follow.' When clicked, the patient will receive a notification in the Portal that says, 'Your prescription refill has been received, and we’re in the process of sending a new prescription,' along with the reason for denial.
Patient Problems is a new Admin page added to Decision Support. The Patient Problems page allows the creation of rules that will auto-add items to the Problems List, saving users time from adding them manually. It will also enable problems to be grouped with similar ICDs. Users can set rules for problems to expire off the list after a set period of time. This time-saving feature notifies providers in advance about recurring issues experienced by patients.
Example: Pediatric patients with 3 or more ear infections within 6 months are considered to have recurrent otitis media and oftentimes providers will add the diagnosis to the patient's problem list. With this feature the system can automatically update the problem list with the associated diagnosis.
The Superbill 'Edits' feature has been enhanced, allowing modifiers to be appended to the IF CPT entered on the rule.
An option to 'Include Conversation' has been added to Chart Print. This setting is disabled by default, meaning conversation information will not be included for all chart items.
Providers often like to provide letters to their patients explaining lab results. TriMed offers a new, easy way to write a letter within the EHR and include the result details.
The Patient Card feature provides a quickly accessible area to view many different data points on a patient. It combines results, medications, problems, and HealthWatcher information to give users a glance at a patient’s chart. For providers who like to prep patients before a visit, it also provides a place to prepare for the visit before starting a note.
A new feature in the Check-In Admin application has been added called 'For patients age _____ and older, do not allow Copy To option for demographics.'
If a patient is under the age set in Admin, the ability to 'Copy To' will still be enabled for the Guarantor and any siblings under the age specified in Admin.
If a patient is at or over the age set in Admin, the 'Copy To' buttons will be disabled for the Guarantor and siblings.
On the Guarantor Screen, the ability to 'Copy To' patients over the age set in Admin is disabled as well.
TriMed is introducing a new way to view a defined set of data within a note. The Note Field Set feature will consolidate the user’s workflow and allow the user to choose which information must be included in the note. The option to add high and low cutoffs to each field streamlines data interpretation.
A new, simplified note control called ‘Procedure Place Control’ provides an easier way to add multiple chart items and link the chart items associated with the plan. This feature could eliminate the need for numerous lab and injection blue boxes and checkboxes or other CPT controls outside the E&M control.
TriMed Complete’s Managed Meds Module provides an update to our Current Medications module. With the ability to quickly process new medications, update current medications, and pull historic medications from the PBM database, users can quickly access all patient medication needs from one screen.
