TriMed Complete’s Managed Meds Module provides an update to our Current Medications module. With the ability to quickly process new medications, update current medications, and pull historic medications from the PBM database, users can quickly access all patient medication needs from one screen.
TriMed Complete now offers a more robust way to review lab results in note templates using our Result Review Note Control. Users can also default frequently used result comments and use previous comments when reviewing patient labs.
Sometimes practices like to know whether Portal Messages or Notifications sent to a patient have been read or not. This can now be achieved through the new ‘Portal Sent Box’ Widget Type.
When users create a lab order, and the order is signed, the system creates an HL7 for sending to the LIS. If the user realizes that additional tests are needed, a new HL7 is created. This can confuse the lab viewing the orders on the LIS system and in the EHR because there are more order chart items than necessary. The system now offers a way to hold orders for a few minutes before they are sent, reducing the number of mistakes and avoiding multiple orders.
A new feature on the Chart Print page, ‘Include Conversation,’ has been added. Users can include/exclude the 'Conversation' tab internal conversation in the Chart Print PDF using this feature. Quick Note and Advanced portal message tab conversations will default to show on the Chart Print PDF.
A new user preference has been created under Home/SysWide > Schedule to 'Show/Hide Intended Provider.'
Users can choose from 3 options:
1. Show Intended Provider
2. Hide Intended Provider
3. Show Intended Provider for Resource Appointments Only
When 'Hide Intended Provider' is selected, the column will be hidden on the schedule.
We've added a new option that allows failed faxes to be sent to the user who originally sent the fax, as well as to a Team.
A new option has been added to Global Settings called 'Manually send TeleMed Links.'
When this option is enabled and a TeleMed appointment is booked, the patient will not automatically receive a link to a room. When the links are not auto-sent, the Prep URL and Room URL icons are displayed in red.
Once users click on the red icons and send the prep link/room URL manually, the red color is cleared, indicating the TeleMed links were sent to the patient.
When a chart item (such as an order or prescription) is marked as confidential, the chart item will not be displayed in the Assessment & Plan blue box. This prevents the chart item from generating on a Visit Summary.
Within Admin > System Setup > Lookup List > Fax Cover Description, practices can set up separate fax cover sheets per department.
