My Notes on Quick Notes

There are times when a user wants to make personal notes about something they have done on a quick note without having to send it back to themselves or another user.

To handle this a new 'My Note' option has been added to the Quick Note. The user will be able to enter in a note in the comment field and click 'My Notes'. This will add the note to the item, but will not disrupt or complete any open notifications.

Pulling Data into a Note Field

Use the Default/Predefined option on a note field control to define the default value to when creating a new note. A practice has the following options:

1. Enter text data into the field.

2. Use a Bookmark using [bookmarkname]

3. Use {fieldname} to pull in the last field value from the past 730 days.

4. Use {{fieldname}} to pull in the last field value from a note with the same date as the current note.

5. Use {{fieldname#numberofdays}} for field last value between note date minus the number of days enter for number of days. For example if the value was set to {{fieldname#10}} the system will get the last note field value between the note date minus 10 days (if the note date was 05.30.2022, the last field value between 05.20.2022 and 05.30.2022 would default).
