Appointment Date on Insurance Card Widget

The Insurance Card widget now has an 'Appt Date' column. The system will display the patient's upcoming, non-canceled appointment. If an appointment is canceled, the widget will show the next valid appointment or remain empty if none exists.

Linking Documents to Chart Items

TriMed has added the ability to link a DM Web document to chart items like Appointments, Patient Notes, Orders, Results, Prescriptions, Referrals, etc.

When users click the ‘Continue’ button on the ‘DM Web’ feature with the ‘Open Chart and Preview before Upload’ checkbox selection, the patient’s chart opens, and the document appears. At the top of the document, the system will show the new ‘Link and Add to Chart’ button.

Once users click the ‘Link and Add to Chart’ button, the 'Chart Items' popup will open with the default date filter set to one month. The popup will display the following columns: Date, Chart Item, Type, Provider, a selection checkbox, and the 'Continue,' 'Upload Without Link,' and 'Cancel’ buttons.

Users can manually change the date filter option based on which chart items show on the popup. 

When users select the checkbox and click the ‘Continue’ button, the document will be linked to the selected chart item.

SMS Alerts

If Mat Text is set to 'No' on a patient and a user sends a text message from anywhere in the EHR, the system will alert May Text is set to No. Patient restricted from receiving messages from practice. Users can still text the patient; they can enter the message and click the 'Send' button.

When the patient's phone number is blocked, clicking 'Send' will display an alert stating, "SMS Not Sent: Text Message Stopped by Patient." The user will then be unable to send a message to the patient. 

Note: The patient’s phone number will be blocked if they reply with the following keywords: STOP, CANCEL, END, QUIT, STOPALL, or UNSUBSCRIBE. To resume messages, the patient can reply with START, YES, or UNSTOP. These keywords are not case-sensitive, so variations like "stop" and "StOp" are accepted.

Queue Viewer - Items Needing Manual Download

Documents over 50 pages are not included in a chart print. However, those exceeding 50 pages can be downloaded from the new print icon on the queue viewer ‘Chart Print Queue’ page. 

When users click the print icon on the queue viewer ‘Chart Print Queue’ page, the 'Chart Print Manual Download' popup opens, allowing them to download documents over 50 pages for printing.

The ‘Preview As’ feature allows users to securely view another user’s screen for troubleshooting or verification purposes, with restrictions on signing documents or sending prescriptions. Audits track all actions, and role-based permissions control access and capabilities.

Added Team Option to DM Web Preview

Users can now set the Team on a document when uploading through DM Web. 

Document Manager Template 

In Admin > Document Manager > DM Template, a ‘Team’ dropdown has been added, allowing users to set up the ‘Document Template’ for a specified team.

Upload a Document via DM Web

When users select a document template on the DM Web Preview page, the related team is automatically set as the default. If no team is selected for the specified document template in Admin, users can manually select the team.

Once a document is uploaded from DM Web, the team chosen in the popup will default on the Info tab of the document.

Global Setting: If Secondary Insurance is VFC Eligible

If a patient has Primary Insurance as 'Pvt' and Secondary Insurance as 'Gvt,' we previously had a checkbox setting to prompt users to manually select the Pvt/Gvt flag on the Immunization page OR to default to the Gvt flag.

The checkbox setting has been changed to a dropdown, where the system can default the flag to Pvt, Gvt, or Prompt the user to choose the flag.
