We’ve enhanced Document Manager Auto Upload to provide greater flexibility and automation when processing inbound documents and faxes. Practices can now configure document handling with expanded options under Admin > Lookup Lists > Document Type, including modes for Summary Only, Auto Upload Only, or a combination of both. This allows teams to tailor how AI-powered summarization and automated upload workflows are applied by document type.

Additional improvements introduce more intelligent document routing and linking. Referral and lab-related documents can now automatically associate with the appropriate referral, order, or provider, helping maintain stronger clinical context within the patient chart. The update also includes expanded provider assignment options and a “Next Up” round-robin workflow that distributes incoming documents among eligible providers based on scheduling activity. Together, these enhancements help streamline document processing, improve workflow efficiency, and support more organized management of inbound clinical records.
