TriMed is introducing a new EHR option, the 'HPI/Plan Polish API,' designed to streamline workflows and improve the clarity of clinical documentation.

Once this feature is enabled, the related fields can be mapped by navigating to: Admin → Templates → Template Fields → Interfaces → Plan Diagnosis Field Mapping.

With this option enabled, providers can enter short phrases or notes into the HPI or Assessment & Plan fields and then click the polish icon.

The system will automatically convert those brief inputs into a more complete and polished narrative, saving time and improving documentation quality.
