Allow Deleting Reopened Items
A new checkbox option, 'Allow deleting reopened items,' is now available under Admin > Practice Admin > Practice Settings > Item Reopening.
When enabled, this setting allows users to delete reopened chart items, including Orders, Results, Quick Notes, Patient Notes, Documents, and Prescriptions. These reopened items will display a Delete button, enabling direct removal.
Clicking the Delete button prompts a confirmation popup where users must enter a reason for deletion.
Once the chart item is deleted, the details of the staff and the reason for deleting the chart item are recorded in the ‘View Alter History’ page.
