Auto Send VIS Documents to Patient Portal
VIS documents can now be sent to patients via the Portal. To do this a new Global Setting has been added called 'Auto send VIS Documents to Patient Portal' with the following options:
- Never: When selected the VIS handout(s) will never be sent to the Patient Portal automatically
- Send on Administered Only: When selected Immunizations are marked 'Administered' then the system will automatically upload the VIS handout(s) to the patient's Portal with a default notification 'You have new items to review on the Portal'.
- Send of Scheduled and Administered: When selected Immunizations are marked 'Scheduled' OR 'Administered then the system will automatically upload the VIS handout(s) to the patient's Portal with a default notification 'You have new items to review on the Portal'.
When sending the VIS documents to the Portal and the patient does not have a Portal account then the system will send an invite to the Portal.
