Upload Lab Req Notification Rule
In a scenario where a provider places an order for a patient to go to outside lab, and the patient needs to take a copy of the lab requisition form to take with them, the system now has the ability to upload a copy of the lab req to the patient's chart so that it is accessible on the Patient Portal.
Within Notification Rule Admin a new Auto Event can be triggered off of an order for 'Upload Lab Requisition'.
In order for the Lab Requisition to show up within the Patient Portal a Document Type needs to be set. To do this navigate to Admin > Orders > Order Sets and set the 'Doc. Type for Lab Requisition Documents'. The Document Type will need to be made available in PPAdmin as well.
