Status Tracker
Status Tracker was designed as an auxiliary tool that acts as a birds eye view of the current patient flow within a practice. Here administrators can glimpse the projected patient volume for the day and the current patient workflow. Apart from offering a quick take on practice flow, the tool provides insights that might help prevent long waits and unbalanced provider schedules.
The status tracker is designed as a stand alone application that does not need to be refreshed or updated after an initial login for the day. It can be placed in a fully public area on a large monitor or periodically accessed on an administrator computer. There is no discernable PHI visible in the application. Some practices find this helpful in the administrator’s office, a provider work room or in a nurses station. There are many options in terms of how to run this such as the Google Chrome bit, smartTVs, etc. All that is needed is a browser on a monitor.
