A new Preventative Visit History widget option has been added to the Portal. To enable this feature, go to PPAdmin > Appointments > Miscellaneous.
Once enabled, the Preventative Visit History widget will appear on the Portal home page, displaying the patient’s previous preventative visits from the past three years. If a patient has had more than six preventative visits during that period, the widget will display only the most recent six entries.
Please note that this data is derived from Charge History—specifically based on CPT codes beginning with 993—and is not pulled from Appointment History.
A sign icon has been added to the Document PDF Editor tool. When users click the sign icon, the system will automatically:
The sign icon will not be displayed if the document’s Patient eSign Status is set to either ‘Patient Only – Awaiting Patient’ or ‘Patient Provider – Awaiting Patient.'
Widgets have been enhanced to allow users to toggle and view 'On Hold' chart items. This functionality now mirrors the behavior of Snoozed notifications by displaying an 'On Hold - (#)' label in the widget header. Clicking this label will display the list of 'On Hold' items.
If the widget settings have ‘Include On Hold’ enabled, On Hold items will be displayed by default. If the setting is disabled, users can still access these items by clicking the 'On Hold' label in the header.
The system has been enhanced to support partial payments for Non-Encounter Charges. The charge field can be edited. This field defaults to the full charge amount, but users can enter a lesser amount if needed.
A new 'Notes' column has been added to the Referring Provider Search window and Referral chart item. This column displays information entered on the Admin > Referring Physician screen, allowing users to view provider-specific notes (e.g., Medicaid acceptance) before making a selection.
When a Distributed Document is signed in the patient chart and later unsigned using the 'Reopen' feature, all previously read-only fields in the PDF will become editable, and the PDF will be reloaded with the latest version.
A new setting, ‘Show Patient Age at Appointment Date,’ has been added under Admin > Scheduling > Schedule Settings.
When enabled, if a patient is younger than the specified age, their age at the time of the selected appointment slot will be displayed on the Book Appointment screen.
For example, if a patient born on 08/19/2024 books an appointment for 08/11/2025, their age will display as 11 months old at the time of the appointment.
A 'Cancel/Reschedule' button has been added to the Check-Out > ‘Next Appointment/Book Appt’ section.
If the user’s role does not have reschedule permissions, only the 'Cancel' button will be displayed, consistent with how this restriction is handled on other EHR pages.
The workflow for this button follows the same behavior as the Cancel/Reschedule functionality used in the appointment chart item.
Users can now enter 'T' or 't' in the date field on a note to automatically populate the field with today’s date.
