The Appointment Prep tab in the EHR allows users to easily verify a patient’s demographic and insurance information before they come in for their appointment. In return this reduces the amount of time it takes to check in a patient when they arrive for their appointment. Additionally, verifying insurance information prior to their appointment could lead to clean claims being sent as close to the date of service as possible.
