Introducing More Flexibility for Sales in the ProApp

Every interaction with a potential member is an opportunity. That’s why we’ve made key updates to the ProApp, giving your team more control over pricing and discounts directly from their mobile devices. Now there's no need to switch to a desktop, causing delays in closing a sale.

What’s New?

  • Edit Membership Price & Joining Fee: Adjust membership pricing and joining fees at checkout, following the same rules as the Dashboard. Ideal for studios that need flexible pricing options.
  • Apply Discounts in ProApp: Staff can apply percentage-based discounts instantly, ensuring a seamless experience across the Dashboard, Web Portal, and Member App.

  • Faster, smoother transactions: No more interruptions when a client is ready to buy.
  • Greater sales flexibility: Staff can confidently adjust pricing on the spot.
  • A consistent experience across platforms: All changes sync in real time, maintaining accuracy.

Updates to Class Edits

In this update, we’ve improved how class edits are saved. Before, if you updated Class Details and saved, all your manual edits would be replaced by the master Class Details and Schedule settings. Now, only the specific fields you edit will update in future classes—nothing else changes.

What does this mean for you? 

When you edit Class Details, only the fields you modify will be updated in future classes.

This ensures greater flexibility and control over your class updates. You can find more information on how to edit your class details through our support page.

Increase Successful Checkouts With Pricing Updates to Gift First Period and Pro Rated Memberships

Provide members with more insight into pricing and increase successful transactions. 

We've added more insight into the checkout experience for members by noting more clearly the actual price to be paid before checkout is complete. This update enables members to ensure the price reflected on screen is what they are expecting to pay. This is especially important when members are being offered a promotion such as a free first month or an adjusted price for a monthly membership.

What's New?

  • Pro-rated Memberships: Members will see the correct amount due today in their carts with the label “Prorated price” 

  • Gift First Period Free Memberships: Memberships that start with a free period will show no cost in the cart with the label “First period is free”, with subsequent subscription fees displayed for clarity. 



With this update, we hope you will benefit from:

  • Clearer Pricing: Final checkout price is now reflective of the actual price to pay today. 

  • Improved Checkout Experience: Minimize pricing-related inquiries and decrease transaction drop-offs.

Celebrate Milestones With Members

Never miss an opportunity to celebrate your milestones with your members with our newly added birthday milestone reminder and year to date visits tracking across our dashboard and pro app.

We've brightened up the pro app with a new birthday icon visible to gym staff right from the class roster! Also from the class roster on the Pro App, we've added year to date visits tracking to make it easier than ever to cheer on members as they progress. Year to date visits tracking is also available on the member profile within the pro app, making it easier than ever to cheer members on!

To compliment these updates, we've added year to date tracking within the dashboard, available from both the member profile and class drawer.

What’s new?

  • View Year to Date visits on Pro App: View yearly progress on the Pro App from the client roster or member profile.
  • View Year to Date visits on Dashboard: Select a member profile or class roster to view member progress to date.
  • Birthday Milestone: Get notified when a member attends your class and is celebrating a birthday right from the Pro App.

Please contact your  customer success manager or support team to enable year to date visits.

Improvements to the Member App!

We are excited to share some recent improvements we’ve made to the member app.

More insight into members activity history.

Total, Yearly, Monthly and Weekly visits data now available in the visits screen of the member app. Customizable date filters to get accurate visit information for any time period.

Enhanced transparency in credit transactions for Members

Each credit use is now clearly tagged within the app for members as either “booked”, “no show” or “attended”.


Simplify the process of collecting crucial address information.

Members can now update their profile with their address, including street, state, country, and postal code. 

Keep Members Excited and Engaged

Directly link to external content such as Spotify playlists, WOD pages, promotional or event specific websites, and on demand platforms from the Community page.

Get Social with Community Content.

Members can now “share with friends” via a new post type that allows members to share studio content right from the community section of the member app.

Save Custom Email Templates

Our email designer now allows you to save any design as a template!

Saving templates helps you speed up email production by saving frequently used designs. It also helps promote brand consistency by making it easy for your team to always send on-brand communications. 

How to save templates:

  • Navigate to Connect
  • Select the One-off emails tab or a workflow with an email step
  • Create a new email
  • Once you're done editing, select 'Save as template' at the top right of the email designer

We've expanded our appointment functionality to allow appointments to be created with capacity greater than 1 opening up the possibilities to semi private personal training or small group classes.

Scheduling a Cancellation โŒ Restricted Memberships

We’re excited to announce that you can now schedule a cancellation for a restricted membership. Previously, it was only possible to set an immediate cancellation for any clients on a restricted membership. With this update, you can:

  • Reduce admin burden by ensuring staff no longer have to set reminders to cancel a restricted membership in 30 days time
  • Ensure that you never miss a cancelation request deadline.
  • Avoid upset clients due to unexpected charges.
  • Less potential for refund processing.

How do I schedule a cancellation?

  • On the 'Memberships' tab on the client profile, hit 'Actions'
  • Then 'Cancel membership'
  • Choose a date for the membership to be canceled

Points to note:

  • No changes to credit handling: Note, that credits will not be automatically adjusted when a cancellation is scheduled. Staff will need to manually adjust credits as necessary.

This is available for everyone using ABC Glofox with restricted memberships set up.

Secure Your Account With Two-Step Verification

Add an extra layer of protection to your account with two-step verification. 

Instead of relying solely on a password, Two-step verification also requires a one-time verification code that's sent to your email each time you log in.

This helps prevent security threats like unauthorized access to your dashboard, manipulation of your payment settings, and potential data breaches—even if a bad actor has obtained your password.

How do I enable Two-Step Verification?

As an Admin or Superadmin, to enable two-step verification, you must:

  1. Go to Manage > Trainers
  2. Open your profile
  3. Click on the "Configure two-step verification" button
  4. Upon being clicked, a new modal will pop up, where you can read detailed information.
  5. Click on the "Enable two-step verification" toggle.

Note that you must access the email associated with your profile to receive the required verification code, so make sure that the email address is accurate and updated.

We are making it easier than ever to retain customers that have had a change of heart on cancelling their membership!

Streamline operations and ensure seamless continuation of memberships with the added ability to now cancel a scheduled cancellation for unlimited memberships. With this release, you can:

  • Efficiently remove any scheduled cancellations with a click of a button.
  • Avoid the lengthy process of creating a new membership.
  • Streamline operations for both staff and member experiences.

How can I remove a scheduled cancellation?

On the Membership tab on the Member Profile, simply:
  • Hit 'Actions'
  • Select 'Remove cancellation'
  • The removal will be visible in the membership history

This is available for everyone using unlimited memberships ABC Glofox.
