Zapier Integration

Save time, reduce manual data entry, and create powerful automations by using Zapier to connect ABC Glofox to the other applications used by your business, from Facebook Lead Ads to Google Sheets. 

Why You'll Love This

This first version of our integration makes it possible to:

  • Create leads in Glofox based on actions in other applications (e.g. a form submission from Facebook Lead Ads)
  • Trigger actions in other applications when a lead is created in Glofox (e.g. create a card in Trello)

Note: The Glofox <> Zapier integration is only available to those on an Elite plan

How to Get Started

  • Select the ABC Glofox app in Zapier
  • Enter your API Key when prompted (obtain your key by contacting Glofox.APISupport@abcfitness.com)
  • Test the connection to confirm it is working

Apple Pay and Google Pay Support

Members can now complete purchases using Apple Pay or Google Pay within Glofox powered member apps. This modern, mobile-first payment experience helps boost conversions and streamline the checkout experience.

Why You’ll Love This

  • Boost conversions and first payments: Remove the friction of typing in card details for higher conversion rates and fewer abandoned sign-ups
  • Modernized member experience: Automatically support Apple Pay and Google Pay — just like your members’ favorite apps
  • No extra fees: Pay the same standard Stripe card rates regardless of whether or not members use Apple Pay or Google Pay

How To Get Started

No additional setup is required for customers that use Glofox with Stripe for payment processing*. Apple Pay and Google Pay can be used on web and mobile for:

  • Store Products
  • Single Memberships
  • Recurring Memberships

*Apple Pay and Google Pay are not supported for customers in Canada, those using GoCardless, and those using Stripe Direct Debit in New Zealand. Support for these customers is coming soon

Easily Upgrade or Downgrade Memberships

Give staff the ability to upgrade or downgrade a member's membership without having to cancel and re-enroll.

What’s New?

You can now upgrade or downgrade memberships using a new option on each member's profile.

  • Save time and reduce admin work: One simple upgrade and downgrade flow with no need to cancel and re-enroll
  • Unlock upgrade revenue: Capture additional revenue automatically with prorated upgrade charges
  • Improve membership reporting accuracy: Stop skewing reporting with cancellations that are actually upgrades or downgrades

How To Upgrade or Downgrade a Membership:

  1. Open the member’s profile in Glofox
  2. Go to the Membership section
  3. Open the Actions menu
  4. Click Change membership
  5. Select whether to make the change today or on the next payment date
  6. Select the new plan
  7. Review the price, discount level, and payment method. Note that any additional charge to upgrade will be calculated on a prorated basis.
  8. Click Pay to complete the transaction

Tags

Tag members in ABC Glofox to capture additional context, enable more targeted communication, and personalize experiences throughout the member journey.

What's New?

You can now tag member and lead profiles with custom attributes.

Why This Matters:

  • Unified member context and tracking: Identify key member attributes like skill level, goals, and more. Ensure faster handoffs and provide every staff member with the context they need.
  • Flexible segmentation for personalized engagement: Create hyper-relevant communications by using Tags to build custom audiences that match your business’s unique needs.   

How To Get Started:

Manage Tags from the Tags page

  1. Head to the new Tags page
  2. Click ‘+ Create Tag’
  3. Name the Tag and click save
  4. Delete unwanted tags by clicking the ellipses icon

Add Tags from a member or lead profile

  1. Open any member or lead profile
  2. Click ‘+ Create Tag’
  3. Select existing tags or create a new tag
  4. Click save

Build a custom audience using Tags

  1. Visit the Audiences page
  2. Click '+ Create Audience'
  3. Select a tag or multiple tags, as well as any other filters
  4. Name the audience
  5. Click save

Edit Appointments on the Calendar

Updating appointments just got a whole lot easier in Glofox.

What's New?

It’s now possible to edit appointment details without deleting and recreating the appointment, as was required previously.

Why This Matters:

  • Improved User Experience: Save your trainers and admin staff time by enabling easy updates
  • Reduce Errors and Encourage Accurate Record Keeping: Adjusting an existing booking reduces the chance of making a mistake and encourages keeping the calendar up-to-date 

How To Get Started:

  1. Head to the Calendar
  2. Select an appointment
  3. Click the new Edit Appointment button
  4. Modify the details as desired
  5. Click save

View Member Activity in the Glofox Pro App

Tracking member activity fuels retention and revenue—and with mobile access, your team can personalize service and act in the moment right on the floor. 

What's New?

You can now view Member Activity on the go in the Glofox Pro App, which could previously only be accessed via the Glofox dashboard on desktop.

Why This Matters:

  • Enable front-desk functionality everywhere: Equip mobile-first and on-floor staff with the latest member activity information without requiring them to head to the desk or office.
  • Create more personalized interactions: With access to a member’s history on the spot, staff can tailor conversations, offer relevant recommendations, and improve the overall experience.

How To Get Started:

  1. Open any member’s profile in the Pro App 
  2. Scroll to the new Activity tab beneath the Interactions tab
  3. Tap the Activity tab to view a record of the member's visits, bookings, and attendance

Send emails to class or appointment registrants

Every class or appointment you offer provides an opportunity to build community and deepen member engagement. You and your instructors can extend this opportunity beyond the session itself by using ABC Glofox to engage class participants with alerts, friendly reminders and other relevant content.

What's New?

In addition to push notifications, you can now send emails directly to clients registered for any class or appointment.

Why This Matters:

Email can be a less noisy option than push notifications, and allows you to share expanded content, images, and links.

  1. Pre-event updates: Share schedule updates, instructor swaps, or location changes.
  2. Post-event feedback: Gather reviews and testimonials right after class.
  3. Instructor branding: Let your team promote their social links or upcoming sessions.

How To Get Started:

  1. Go to Home > Calendar and select any class or appointment with at least one registrant.
  2. Click “Send group message”.
  3. Craft your email, hit Send, and you’re done!

Automatically cancel bookings made by paused members

Free up unused spaces and save your team time with our latest update.

What's New?

Starting now, class bookings will be automatically canceled when a member’s membership is paused. This includes recurring sessions and any bookings during the pause period—no more no-shows taking up space or the need to cancel manually.

This update ensures class spots are reserved for active members while reducing admin work for your team.

  • Increased Attendance: Prevent lost revenue from paused members taking up class spots.
