Visits Stats in the Member App

We are delighted to announce that we’ve added a new section called My visits to members’ profiles! 

By showing your members stats on their attendance and studio check-ins, we aim to motivate them to visit the studio more often, drive more user engagement onto the app and encourage them to achieve milestones. 

In their profiles, members can now see:

  • Total number of classes attended. 
  • Total number of studio check-ins (if attendance is not available).
  • Time since they joined your studio. 
  • Class attendance for the current month.
  • Studio check-ins for the current month. 

Please note if your studio doesn’t track attendance or check-ins, My visits widget will not appear on your members’ profiles.

Promo Codes in the Member App

We are excited to announce the first release of Promo Codes in the app! This new feature allows you to easily create and manage promo codes to offer discounts and incentives for your gym memberships.

Simply log into Glofox and navigate to Manage > Discounts section to create the promo codes. Once enabled, you can easily share them with your audience through social media, email and other marketing channels. Promo codes can be redeemed by users through the member app, making it convenient for both you and your customers, as the discounted price will automatically be applied to their membership purchase.

Coming soon

This is just the first release of this feature, and we have many exciting improvements coming in the future. Soon, you will be able to track the success of your promo codes, customize expiration dates, and even set limits on the number of times a code can be used. We will also be extending promo code usage to other purchase types including credit packs and will enable users to redeem them through other channels such as the web integration. 


Early access

We have already enabled the feature for a number of customers, and will be rolling out to everyone looking to use Promo codes soon. New Sales and Payouts Reports Live

We have released new and improved Sales and Payouts Reports. Both reports allow for greater in-depth analysis with drill down functionality added for all key metrics.

Our new Sales Report has added visualizations along with the option to view all key data broken down at an invoice or transaction level. Pending and forgiven sales are also now easily viewable.

The new Payouts Report for the first time allows payouts to be easily viewed by transactions over time. You can drill down into all headline figures and view payouts scheduled to happen in the near future.

We have also made some changes to the reporting navigation layout with the all revenue reports now top of the menu

Amplify Member Expiring workflow now supports unlimited memberships

Last week we released a new Amplify workflow “Member Expiring” to you in early access, allowing you to automatically engage with clients whose pre-paid memberships are about to expire. We just released an update to also include unlimited memberships, enabling you to retain even more customers at risk of churning.

For members who’ve scheduled the cancellation of a recurring membership or who are on a fixed-term contract, once the term ends, re-engaging with them is very difficult and costly. Communicating with them prior to their end date with a compelling offer is the perfect opportunity to retain them. The Member Expiring workflow automates this process for you!

Amplify - Enable and Disable individual workflow messages

As the next step towards giving you more flexibility on your Amplify automated workflows, you can now easily enable and disable individual workflow messages!

This is particularly useful if you want to momentarily test a different cadence, disabling particular messages without having to permanently delete them, and giving you the ability to easily re-enable them afterward as desired.

New Trainer Insights Report Live

To further help with the calculation of trainer payroll and to provide improved insight into trainer performance we have released this new report. This report will replace the trainer performance report that is currently live in the dashboard. Based on your feedback we have made the following key enhancements;

  • We have added trainer hours worked and accurate cost per session calculations to help calculate trainer payroll
  • Now you can download all or select trainer bookings into one file
  • Service name columns are now fully populated so you can see if bookings came from an add-on, membership or credit
  • Appointment names display for the first time so you can tell specifically which events have been booked
  • We also now provide a summary overview of your overall combined trainer performance and specific trainer tables for classes & appointments

Filter Community Posts in the Member App

We improved the community feed experience in the member app by introducing content filters. With filters, users can browse categories and easily find the specific content of interest.

The tags you attach to community posts (e.g. Trending, HIIT Workout, Nutrition) will automatically display in the app as category filters. You can use any number of tags to categorise your posts and create lists with on-demand workouts, WODs, Meal plans, Promotions, and more. 

We encourage you to review existing tags and regularly post new content in the Community feed to engage with your members.
