New navigation layout now available

We're excited to release Glofox's new navigation layout to boost your team's productivity and enhance the organization of your tasks. With no structural or operational changes, your system will work and perform in the exact same way with an easier navigation layout located to the left of your dashboard.

In these first few weeks you will still be able to move back and forth between your new and old navigation layout in a simple process, shown here:

Recurring Appointments & Bulk Delete Now Live

We’re excited to announce that the Recurring Appointment Bookings feature is now available for any customer using the new version of Appointments!

Multiple appointments can now be created simultaneously in one booking from your Dashboard  - saving hours of admin time and ensuring your clients secure their preferred weekly slot.  

What does the first version include? 

  • On the Dashboard calendar, staff can create Appointment bookings on behalf of the client for up to 3 months in the future
  • The bookings are created as unpaid bookings. 
    • Trainers/Admins can take payment for the booking any time after the booking is created, any type of payment can be used i.e. credits (if available on the client’s account), cash, card etc.
  • The bookings can be made regardless of the memberships type (PAYG, Restricted, Unlimited, Credit Packs are all supported)
  • Recurring appointments can be deleted individually or in bulk 

How can I set up a Recurring Appointment Booking? 

  • To set up a recurring appointment, simply click on a slot on the Dashboard calendar 
  • Set the appointment up for one or multiple days 
  • Select the date you want the appointment series to end 

To delete all remaining appointments within a series, simply select the appointment from the calendar on the Dashboard, and select the bulk delete option ‘This and all following appointments’.

How can I get access to the new version of Appointments?

[Beta] Add new automated emails, SMS, and push to Amplify

We’re excited to announce a new feature for giving you more customization over Amplify, our customer engagement add-on!  

All Amplify workflows have pre-defined templates that follow the industry’s best practices, but we know that you may want to tailor them to your audience. Up until now you could enable/disable individual messages and now you can take it a step further and add entirely new messages, to customize the entire cadence.  

You can now add new emails, SMS, and push notifications to the New Leads workflow, as shown in the video below:

Promo Codes - Web Integration, Credit Packs & Usage Limits

We are delighted to announce some of our latest updates to promo codes that we’ve been rolling out to customers. 

These updates add the following functionality: 

  • Set limits on the number of times a client can use a promo code 
  • Allow promo codes to be used for Credit Pack purchases 
  • Allow promo codes to be used on the Web Integration 

Limit client usage of promo codes 

You can now set a limit of how many times each client can use the promo code, helping you to better control the offers you share with your clients.  

On the discount definition screen within the dashboard, simply check the tick box to enable the limit, and edit the number of uses view the text field as shown in the screenshot below: 

Please note that once you’ve saved this change you will not be able to edit the value again. 

 Upon saving you will see the limit you have set displayed in the discount summary: 

 Allow promo codes for Credit Pack purchases 

Once this feature is enabled, promo codes will be usable for credit pack purchases in addition to membership purchases. Clients using the Member App (and Web Integration if enabled – see below), will be presented with the promo code field where they can enter and apply a promo code. 

 Allow promo codes to be used on the web integration 

With this feature enabled your clients will be able to use promo codes on Memberships and Credit Pack purchases on the web integration.

New Version of Appointments

We now have a new version of Appointments available! This updated version provides increased flexibility across appointment creation and management. We’re continuing to improve this version, so you can expect ongoing updates over the coming weeks and months!  

What to expect on the new version of Appointments: 

  • Flexibility to create different appointment types, durations and prices i.e. PT 30 minute- $40, PT 45 minute - $60, Nutrition consultation 60 minute - $50
  • Trainers/Admins have the ability to schedule their own appointments on the go in the Pro App 
  • Bookings will not be processed if a conflict is detected i.e. trainer has another booking at the same time, client has another booking 
  • Members will be able to view and book the desired appointment type, trainer, duration and price in the Member App
  • Staff will have the ability to add a client when creating an appointment slot on the Dashboard and Pro App, this will improve efficiency and streamline the booking process

Migration 

It’s now possible to migrate to the new Appointments version. Please note:  this Appointments version does not offer a recurring trainer scheduler yet, client side bookings are only available through the Member App, not the Web Portal. More info here. Coming next

Recurring Appointment Bookings is now available for early access. Note that this feature will only be available on the new version of Appointments. Promo codes Now Live for Everyone!

We are delighted to announce that we have released Promo codes for all Glofox customers to help you increase membership sales in the new year!

Promo codes can be created in Glofox for your leads and clients to use in the member app. Super Admin users can create a promo code in the Manage > Discounts tab. Promo codes can currently only be applied to membership purchases. When your clients apply a promo code in the checkout, it will reduce the price of the initial payment and subsequent subscription cycles by a set percentage. For recurring subscriptions you can adjust the number of payment cycles the discount will apply to.

If you want to end the promotion, you can deactivate the promo code, which will turn it off temporarily so it can be used later. You can find out more on Promo codes in this Knowledge Base article.

Deleting/Editing discounts

For selected customers we have also enabled early access to discount deletion and the ability to edit the discount name and description fields. Deleting a discount code will remove it from Glofox, preventing staff and clients from being able to view and use the discount, as well as the associated promo code, for future purchases. Deleting a discount will not remove the discount from existing recurring subscriptions. We will enable this functionality to all customers in the following weeks.

Opt-out of using Promo codes or give your feedback

If you don’t plan to use promotions for your studio, you can opt-out by sending us an email to product-team@glofox.com. We will disable the feature and your clients will not have the ability to add promo codes in the checkout. We would also welcome any additional feedback you’d like to share on this feature and improvements you’d like to see in future.

Visits Stats in the Member App

We are delighted to announce that we’ve added a new section called My visits to members’ profiles! 

By showing your members stats on their attendance and studio check-ins, we aim to motivate them to visit the studio more often, drive more user engagement onto the app and encourage them to achieve milestones. 

In their profiles, members can now see:

  • Total number of classes attended. 
  • Total number of studio check-ins (if attendance is not available).
  • Time since they joined your studio. 
  • Class attendance for the current month.
  • Studio check-ins for the current month. 

Please note if your studio doesn’t track attendance or check-ins, My visits widget will not appear on your members’ profiles.

Promo Codes in the Member App

We are excited to announce the first release of Promo Codes in the app! This new feature allows you to easily create and manage promo codes to offer discounts and incentives for your gym memberships.

Simply log into Glofox and navigate to Manage > Discounts section to create the promo codes. Once enabled, you can easily share them with your audience through social media, email and other marketing channels. Promo codes can be redeemed by users through the member app, making it convenient for both you and your customers, as the discounted price will automatically be applied to their membership purchase.

Coming soon

This is just the first release of this feature, and we have many exciting improvements coming in the future. Soon, you will be able to track the success of your promo codes, customize expiration dates, and even set limits on the number of times a code can be used. We will also be extending promo code usage to other purchase types including credit packs and will enable users to redeem them through other channels such as the web integration. 


Early access

We have already enabled the feature for a number of customers, and will be rolling out to everyone looking to use Promo codes soon. New Sales and Payouts Reports Live

We have released new and improved Sales and Payouts Reports. Both reports allow for greater in-depth analysis with drill down functionality added for all key metrics.

Our new Sales Report has added visualizations along with the option to view all key data broken down at an invoice or transaction level. Pending and forgiven sales are also now easily viewable.

The new Payouts Report for the first time allows payouts to be easily viewed by transactions over time. You can drill down into all headline figures and view payouts scheduled to happen in the near future.

We have also made some changes to the reporting navigation layout with the all revenue reports now top of the menu
