New ‘Visits’ report now live

You can now see how often your clients are visiting your location for a customisable period. ‘Visits’ combines client data from class/appointment attendance and access scanning (if enabled) to give you a clear picture of your client visit activity.  

You can use this information to reward frequent visitors or to help understand and improve visit rates from clients who have a poor visit rate. For a period of your choosing, you can view

Total visit count, totals for those who visited and who did not visit

Average and median visit counts

Average days visited by clients by membership

Total visits and unique days visited by clients

All client visit details

Automatically Log Member Interactions from Amplify workflows

We’re excited to release a new feature that allows Amplify-sent messages to be automatically logged in a member’s profile.

We believe making it easy to understand how you're engaging with your members is essential for you to ensure they have an amazing experience. Until now, you've had the option to manually log interactions on member profiles - an essential feature. However, we know that's not the full story - your members are also getting automated messages, namely through Amplify, and we want you to have visibility into that. 

This feature is now available across all Amplify workflows (New Leads, New Clients, Member Expiring, and Member Expired). 

Take a look at the example below to see how each automatically logged interaction will show whether an email, SMS, or push notification was sent, and exactly which message in the workflow the member received at that time.

Now Live: Trainer Availability for Client-Facing Appointments

We are continually improving our Glofox Appointments capabilities and we have an exciting new release to share - Introducing Trainer Availability for client-facing Appointment bookings!

Make scheduling easy and frictionless 

  • Let clients self-schedule and manage their bookings 24/7 in the Member App

Let staff manage their own schedules 

  • Share the scheduling burden with all staff, Trainers can now manage their availability 

Fully optimised scheduling 

  • Simply set the schedule and let Glofox manage your bookings and conflicts, ensuring you're never double booked

How do I set it up? 

1) Add a daily schedule for trainers through the 'Appointment availability' button on your Dashboard calendar 

2) Once the availability is set, the appointment slots will be displayed in the Member App for clients to book. All appointments the trainer is available to take will be displayed, clients can filter by Trainer. 

  • Note: Ensure your Trainers are added to the right Appointments under 'Manage > Appointments' 

What's coming next? 

  • Recurring Trainer Availability: An enhancement to Trainer Availability is coming soon, which will ensure ongoing trainer hours can be set for Appointments 
  • Private Appointments: Control which appointments you make visible for your clients to book    
  • Appointments on the Web Portal: Clients will be able to book appointments on your website

Send Automated SMSs on Members' Birthdays and To Remind Them of Their Upcoming Classes

We're excited to announce an enhancement to our automated Class Booking Reminders and Birthday Messages! Until now, you could automatically email your members to celebrate their birthdays and to remind them of their upcoming classes, and with today's release, you can now also do so with automated SMS messages! 

You can easily activate these by going to the “Connect > Messages” tab. See an example in the GIF below:

Payouts report enhancements

Increased visibility of your future payouts has been added to the Payouts report. 

To help present this new detail as clearly as possible we have made some small changes to the report layout. We now present three distinct cards atop of the Payouts report. 

  1. Completed payouts. These are the payouts that have arrived in your bank account 
  2. In transit payouts. These are payouts that are currently on the way to your bank account
  3. Estimated in future payouts. These are the payouts that are currently being compiled by payment providers. These will in time move into ‘In transit’ and then ‘Completed’ 

Based on feedback we have added tables for each payout category broken down by payout date. All payout groupings can be drilled into at a payout, transaction and item level.  

We have also extended the 'completed payouts' chart to the last 12 months and added a table for payouts by revenue stream.

Discounts & Promo Codes - Insights

We’re delighted to announce the latest improvement to our Discounts & Promo Codes feature which we're in the process of rolling out to all branches. This new enhancement brings visibility to the key data for your discounts and promotions showing you: 

  • Usage data – how many times have discounts been applied, and where were they applied  
  • Total discounted amount – what’s the monetary value of the discounts given 
  • Revenue from discounted charges – what’s the total revenue earned from charges that included this discount 

 

  

We believe these insights will help you better understand the performance of your promotions to help you maximize success but we’d love to hear your feedback, especially if there’s any additional insights you’d like to see added.  

This new Insights tab is located on the Discounts Definition screen: 

 

Each Discount will have its own Insights tab. Please note Insights are not visible for deleted discounts.

'Add-on' reporting improvements are now live


You can now easily find out which of your members have an active Add-on, what type of Add-on they have, along with the price paid. This information can be found via the new 'Members by Add-on' table on your Members Report. The same information is also available at a member level if you drilldown into any of the key member metrics at the top of this report.

To help with visibility of recent Add-on sign ups we have added a specific Add-on table at the bottom of our 'New Memberships' report. You can select a time period of your choosing and you will be able to see number of Add-ons purchased, broken down by type and with member level details available via further drilldown so you can see who has purchased and at what price.

Add new emails, SMS, and push to all Amplify workflows

Following up on the early-access Beta release two weeks ago, we’re excited to announce the full release of a new feature enabling you to more deeply customize Amplify!  

With this, you can now add new emails, SMS, and push notifications to all Amplify workflows, giving you full customization of your sequence of messages when: 

  • Converting new leads
  • Onboarding new clients 
  • Retaining expiring members 
  • Reengaging lost members 

Learn how you can add new multi-channel messages in the below example, where we add a push notification to the "New Clients" workflow, to congratulate new clients upon completing their first week:
