Date Picker

There are three new presets introduced for the date picker:

  1. last 14 days
  2. this fortnight
  3. last fortnight

This allows you to quickly analyze two weeks and the prior comparison period without having to manually select the date range from the picker.

Last 14 days selects the last 14 days (excluding today). The previous period will automatically update and select the last 28 to 14 days as the comparison period.

This fortnight selects the last week plus this week so far. The previous period will automatically calculate how many days this has selected for the same number of days for comparison purposes.

Last fortnight selects the last 2 weeks (excluding this week). The previous period will automatically update and select the last 4 to 2 weeks as the comparison period.

If you have been a long time user of Digivizer and thus have enough data, you can also compare any prior period, including the same period for last year.

Extra metric in paid charts

Digivizer has further enhanced the paid media tab to make it easier for users to explore and understand their paid media performance. The performance chart now supports up to 3 metrics at once, accessible through the third dropdown menu. The new dropdown also supports a ‘no metric’ option, if you wish to just see two metrics.

All users have access to this improvement, which can be accessed here.

Paid tab upgrade

Digivizer has enhanced the paid media tab to make it easier for users to explore and understand their paid media performance.

Improvements include:

  1. The performance chart now tracks the metrics of the items being shown. For instance if you are on the Adsets sub-page and filter the adsets being displayed, the charts will update to show the performance of the matching adsets.
  2. The Campaigns and Adsets sub-pages support grouping, allowing you to view aggregated metrics for these levels easily. The ability to select campaigns and adsets is still present - grouping is an additional feature to aid quick navigation.
  3. The Video Views Rate metric is now available in the columns.
  4. Changes made to the column order in the tables will now stay active until you log out or refresh the page, meaning you can safely arrange, resize, hide or show columns and move between tabs, without these changes being lost.
  5. You can now drag and drop to move or resize columns, or to hide / reshow columns you can right click anywhere on the table headers to bring up a configuration menu.

All Digivizer users have access to the Paid Media Tab upgrade here.

Connect multiple Google Search Consoles to Digivizer

Digivizer users can now connect multiple Google Search Consoles to Digivizer, enabling fast analysis of keyword performance for optimization of SEO strategies.

When multiple Google Search Consoles are connected to Digivizer, users can access insights into search queries across each domain. This may include websites, help centers or online shops.

For each Google Search Console you connect, you gain visibility on:

  • Keywords that rank on page 1 of Google (ranked 1-10)
  • Keywords on page 2 (11-20) that you can monitor for future optimization decisions
  • Keyword ranking changes over time
  • Your exact match search queries driving the most clicks
  • ROI for Search queries important to your brand or content strategy (depending on your plan)*

This update also allows users to connect Google Search Console directly to Digivizer, eliminating the need for it to be linked to Google Analytics accounts.

  • For businesses who had previously connected Google Search Console to Digivizer via their instance of GA4, your connection has been migrated to directly connect to Digivizer and no action required. You will continue to see your Search Query data in your brand space.
  • Free plan users cannot track additional search queries. Contact us via in-platform chat or email at support@digivizer.com to upgrade your plan and access this feature.

Digivizer’s Search Query Tracking feature is available to all users and enables faster decision-making on performance, investment and resources. Your plan will determine how many additional Search queries you can track.

Date Picker now allows users to select and compare any reporting period

Digivizer’s Date Picker now offers greater flexibility in period-on-period analysis and reporting. Users have access to additional predefined month and quarter periods plus the ability to select and compare any period that is important to their reporting.

The default comparison setting for Date Picker is Last 7 Days.

Compare any period with any period

Users can choose to manually select any custom date range to compare. Digivizer will automatically compare to the exact same number of days prior to your selection.

Or, users can manually select a custom “compare to” period using the calendar. This allows for much greater flexibility in the periods you can select and compare.

For example; you can now select a specific quarter or month in 2023 and choose to compare it with the same quarter or month in 2022 or select an entire year to compare it to any previous year.

Predefined period-on-period analysis and reports

Users can change the reporting period by selecting from one of the predefined periods. Digivizer automatically compares the selected period, to the exact same number of days prior to your selection.

New reporting periods include the ability to easily select a specific historical month or quarter and compare it to the previous month or quarter. Predefined periods for Q1, Q2, Q3 or Q4 are based on the Australian calendar year and give users an instant comparison to the previous quarter.

Please read our Help documentation for detailed steps on how to use the Date Picker.

Update: Meta Issue with Facebook Conversions has been resolved!

Following the API (Application Programming Interface) data exchange change from Facebook shared last week, we have released the fix to allow Facebook conversions and ROAS calculations.

This data is now correctly showing in Overview Page, Digi Express, and into Paid at the campaign, adsets and ad level.  All data has been backdated so there should be full reference data when looking at comparative periods or performance over time.

Add New Accounts from the Overview Page

Whether you’re just getting started with Digivizer or you’re a long-time user looking to pack even more value into your Overview page, we’ve made it much easier for you to connect more social media accounts to your Digivizer Overview page.

If you have Admin rights on your brand space, you’ll now see an inline button next to the “Social Accounts” heading on your Overview page that reads “+ Connect Another Account”. If you’re on mobile, you should see a simple box with a plus sign [+] in it.

If you click this new button, it will take you straight to the “Manage Connections” page, where you’ll be able to add a new Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube or Google account to your brand space.

Don’t worry: you can also still access the “Manage Connections” page from the cog wheel in the top right corner of your brand space. We’re just giving you a quicker way to get to where you want to be!

If you have any questions about connecting a new social media account to Digivizer, please contact our support team via the in-app chat bubble in the bottom right hand corner of your screen.

Local Currency in Web Performance

We now show your Local Currency in the Web Performance tab of the Digivizer platform!

Last quarter we debuted this feature in the Paid media tab. Now we’re happy to share that customers who have set their local currency in Google Analytics will see that currency and symbol accurately reflected in Digivizer too in the Website Performance tab.

This update will be visible in both the Overview screen, shown below, and in the Revenue chart once you click through to the deeper insights available in the Web Performance area.

If you are running separate currencies across multiple countries, you can choose to set up separate Brand Spaces per country, and switch between them to see a per country view.  Local currency in Web Performance will also reflect per Brand Space in your Digivizer Express Weekly email.

If you have any questions about multi-currency or multi-country set-up, contact our support team via the in-app chat bubble in the bottom right hand corner of your screen.
