Add Quote Items Inline

You can now add new items directly in the Quote Items table — no more switching to a separate modal to build out your Quote.

  • Add blank items, or search and select products straight from the Catalogue
  • Works both within individual Quote Sections and in the All Items View
  • Edit newly added items right in the table, without leaving it

This speeds up Quote creation and editing, cuts down on navigation between screens, and gives you the same consistent inline-editing experience you already use elsewhere in Archdesk.

Faster Bulk Editing & Clearer Quote All Items View

In Quote All Items view, it’s now possible to copy a value across several items in one drag, instead of opening the legacy Batch Edit screen every time you need to make the same change to multiple rows.

  • Drag the fill handle from any selected cell to copy its value down to the rows you drag over
  • Works the same way in both the standard and full-screen All Items View
  • Reference and Description columns now also show which Quote Section each item belongs to, so the full list is easier to read at a glance

Less time spent switching to a separate bulk-edit screen means faster Quote updates — and with Section information visible right in the table, it's easier to see how a Quote is structured without extra clicks.

⚠️ The legacy Edit All Items / Batch Edit screen will be retired in October — start making bulk changes with the fill handle before then.

Save Your Tender Analyse Offers View

Column set up can now be saved in the Tender Analyse Offers table, so you don't need to reorganise columns every time you open a Tender.

  • Save column visibility, order and width for all participants in one go
  • Your saved layout is applied automatically for all Tenders
  • Company admins can save or reset the layout for everyone, keeping the table consistent across the team
  • The same saved layout carries over to Preview and Choose Awardees modes too

Set the table up once around the information that matters for your role, and it stays that way everywhere you're comparing offers — no more rebuilding the view on every Tender.

⚠️ Filters and sorting aren't included in the saved layout — only column visibility, order and width are remembered.

Tender Participant Offer Dashboard Widgets

You can now analyse a supplier's offers across every Tender and Project they've taken part in — not just the ones they went on to win.

  • See a full list of every offer a Participant has submitted, across Tenders and Projects, using new Dashboard widget Tender Participant Offer List
  • Compare offer amounts grouped by date to track how a supplier's pricing has moved over time, using new Dashboard widgets Tender Participant Offer Amounts Grouped by Date and Tender Participant Offer Amount
  • Count Participant’s Offers using new Dashboard widget Tender Participant Offer Counter
  • Filter and search Participant offers using new dedicated criteria
  • Export any offer list straight to Excel for further analysis

Questions like "What offers has this supplier submitted this year?" can now be answered in a few clicks, giving you a fuller picture of a supplier's pricing and activity — beyond just the offers they've won.

Group Purchase Order Items by Quote Section

Purchase Orders created from a Quote can now be grouped by Quote Section, so the Purchase Order reflects the same structure as the Quote it came from.

  • Group Purchase Order items by Quote Section, keeping the original section hierarchy and nesting intact
  • Items with no Quote Section are grouped separately under "No Section" instead of being mixed in
  • New items can only be added within the "No section" group
  • Drag and drop isn't available while items are grouped by Quote Section

Seeing the Purchase Order laid out the same way as the original Quote makes it much easier to compare the two, without cross-referencing items line by line.

⚠️ The None and CBS grouping options have moved — they're now part of the same Group by selector as Quote Section.

Add New Quote Items to Purchase Order Amendments

When a Quote changes after its Purchase Order has already been issued, you can now bring the newly added Quote items straight into a Purchase Order Amendment instead of recreating them by hand.

  • Select and add new Quote items directly to an existing PO Amendment
  • Keeps the PO Amendment aligned with what actually changed on the originating Quote
  • No need to manually rebuild newly requested items from scratch

When a request changes after the Purchase Order has already gone out, this keeps the Amendment accurate without extra manual work re-entering items.

Project Timesheets — Review & Approve Time in Project Context

Projects now have their own Timesheets page, showing only the time recorded against that Project — no need to work from the company-wide Timesheets view.

  • See every Timesheet relevant to the Project in one place, filtered automatically
  • Review and confirm Timesheets directly from the Project
  • Confirm or delete Timesheets in bulk, following the same permissions and rules as the main Timesheets view

Project Managers and Supervisors can check and manage their project's recorded labour without digging through the full company Timesheets list, making project-level control of time records much easier.

⚠️ Timesheets can't be created from this view — use the main Timesheets page to add new entries.

Time-Bounded Approval with E-mail Reminders (BETA)

Approval stages can now have an expected turnaround time, so an overdue decision surfaces on its own instead of needing to be chased down manually.

  • Set a Time for Approval on an approval stage to define how long a decision should take
  • Approval due dates are calculated automatically as soon as an item enters that stage
  • Approvers can be sent automatic reminder emails while their decision is still outstanding
  • Currently available for supported approval processes on Documents, Quotes and Tenders

Less time spent manually chasing approvers means decisions move faster, shortening how long Documents, Quotes and Tenders spend waiting on a response.

More Data in Invoice Item CSV Exports

Invoice Item exports now carry more of the data you need for external reporting, so there's less need to stitch together several Archdesk exports by hand.

  • See each Invoice Item's Nominal Code directly in the export
  • Trace an Invoice Item back to its originating Quote and Purchase Order via new Reference columns
  • Include your own Invoice Custom Inputs in the export
  • See each Invoice Item's current Approval Stage

A single, more complete export means less time spent combining multiple reports before you can analyse Invoice Item data externally.

Configurable Excel Export for Timesheet Records

Timesheet Excel exports can now be tailored to match your organisation's reporting needs, instead of exporting a fixed set of fields every time.

  • Choose which Timesheet fields are included in the export
  • Build an export suited to payroll, labour-cost, or other operational reporting

You get exactly the information your reporting process needs, without extra columns to strip out afterwards.
