Add Photos to Forms on the Mobile App

When adding a photo to a form using the Image field, you now have convenient options:

  • Take a new photo directly with your device’s camera
  • Upload a photo from your gallery

On iOS devices, the File field also allows you to take a new photo, and both the File and Image fields include a third option to choose a file from your device’s library.

The first time you use this feature, the app will ask for permission to access your camera. Grant permission, and your camera will open so you can snap a photo and instantly upload it to the form.

You can manage photos just like any other file — remove or replace them as needed.

This feature is especially useful for capturing and sharing on-site details, such as progress updates or risk reports, directly with your team in Archdesk.
