Integration
Automate product updates with n8n
Open-source workflow automation. Trigger AnnounceKit actions from any event in your stack - or push updates when you deploy.
Why teams use AnnounceKit with n8n
Workflow triggers
Trigger AnnounceKit actions from any event in your stack. Create posts, update statuses, or notify subscribers when something happens in another tool.
Deploy automation
Automatically publish product updates when you deploy. Connect your CI/CD pipeline to AnnounceKit through n8n workflows.
Bidirectional sync
Send data to and from AnnounceKit. React to AnnounceKit webhook events (11 event types) or push data into AnnounceKit from other services.
Self-hosted option
n8n is open-source and can be self-hosted. Run your automation workflows on your own infrastructure with full control.
How the n8n integration works
Most teams add the AnnounceKit node to an existing n8n workflow and have it live within minutes, since no separate credentials system or middleware is required beyond an API key. Because n8n can be self-hosted, teams with strict data-residency or infrastructure requirements can run the automation layer entirely on infrastructure they control, while AnnounceKit still handles the widget, changelog, and delivery channels.
1. Add an AnnounceKit node
Add AnnounceKit as a trigger or action node in your n8n workflow, using your AnnounceKit API credentials.
2. Choose the event and the action
Pick the event that starts the workflow - an AnnounceKit webhook, a deploy, a ticket status change - and what should happen in AnnounceKit or elsewhere.
3. Activate the workflow
Turn the workflow on and it runs automatically going forward, on self-hosted or cloud-hosted n8n.
Frequently asked questions
How does AnnounceKit integrate with n8n?
AnnounceKit has a native n8n integration. You can trigger AnnounceKit actions from any event in your stack, or push product updates automatically when you deploy or complete tasks in other tools.
Can I auto-publish when I deploy?
Yes. You can create n8n workflows that automatically create or publish AnnounceKit posts when a deployment completes, a Jira ticket ships, or any other event fires in your stack.
Is n8n self-hosted supported?
Yes. n8n is an open-source workflow automation tool that can be self-hosted. The AnnounceKit integration works with both self-hosted and cloud-hosted n8n instances.
Do I need to write code to build an n8n workflow?
No. n8n workflows are built visually by connecting nodes - a trigger node for the event and one or more action nodes, including AnnounceKit's, for what happens next.
Which AnnounceKit events can I react to in n8n?
AnnounceKit exposes 11 webhook event types - covering posts, feature requests, subscriptions and NPS responses - that an n8n workflow can listen for and act on.
