New Feature: Recurring Voyages

Users can now create recurring voyages by selecting the "Recurring" checkbox when adding a voyage.

This unlocks recurrence options, allowing users to define the pattern, specific days, and date range.

Once saved, the voyage creation process will run in the background, and users will receive an email notification upon completion.

Recurring voyages will be marked with a recurring icon.

When deleting a voyage, users can choose to remove a single occurrence or the entire series.

New Marine Calendar Feature: Customize Events Display in Month View

We’ve introduced a new setting that lets you adjust the number of voyages displayed per day in the Month view of the Calendar.

To customize the number of events:

  1. Navigate to the Calendar section under Settings.
  2. Enter your desired number of events per day.

The default is set to 20 events per day.

Resource Plan changes

We introduced the ability to add an Activity Checklist for improved tracking and monitoring of Activity progress. 

To enable this feature, navigate to the General tab in the Setup section and activate the checklist option. Once enabled, a new Activity Checklist tab will appear in the Setup section.

To create checklist items, go to the Activity Checklist tab and click Add Activity Checklist Item.

Progress can be tracked by editing an Activity and updating the status of checklist items under the Readiness tab. Status options include Not yet started, In progress, and Complete.

You can view the overall progress of all Activities in the Readiness tab within the Activity section.

Resource Plan Changes

Activity Prioritization: Users can now assign a priority to Activities. When adding or editing an activity, simply enter the priority number in the new "Priority" field. The priority will be visible in the "Priority" column of the Activities grid. The Priority column can be enabled or disabled by using the "Manage Columns" option.

Nested Activities: Users can now create nested activities by selecting a parent activity from the dropdown list when adding or editing an Activity. 

Nested activities can be easily expanded or collapsed within the Activities grid for better organization.

Updates to Allocator

In response to customer feedback, we've added the Resource Plan request ID to the Request Source column for travel requests created within the Resource Plan. This enhancement allows users to easily identify and link travel requests to their corresponding resource requests.

Updates to Personnel

Based on customer feedback, we've added a CV tab to the Personnel Profile page. This new feature displays basic profile information along with the person's qualifications, which can be easily exported to PDF.

Allocator Changes

We have introduced a new feature that allows you to select a return travel date when creating manual travel requests in Allocator.

To set a return travel date for passengers, simply check the 'Return Travel' box in the Request tab and choose the desired return date.

New Feature: "Planner" Screen in Resource Plan

We have added a new screen called "Planner" in the Plan area of Resource Plan. This feature provides an additional view of personnel requests, allowing users to easily adjust the start and end dates of requests with a simple drag and drop.

The Planner view can now be enabled or disabled through the Setup section of The Planner view can now be enabled or disabled through the Setup section of Resource Plan. .

Some Key Features:

  • Drag and Drop Functionality: Adjust request dates by dragging the start or end to a new date.
  • Grouped by Company: Requests are organized by company for better clarity.
  • Activity Names: View activity names and additional details by clicking on a request cell.

Additional Functionalities on Drag and Drop:

  • Multi-Person Requests: For requests involving multiple people, a confirmation screen will appear, offering options to:
    • Update All People in Request
    • Split and Move the selected person
  • Multiple Date Ranges: If a request spans multiple date ranges, users can choose to:
    • Update Just This Date Range
    • Update All Future Date Ranges

Resource Plan Changes

We have made the following improvements to Resource Plan requests based on your feedback.

Enhanced Request Editing: You can now split individuals from requests, allowing you to make changes to specific requests without affecting others. Simply click the cog icon next to the person you wish to edit and select "Split." This action will create a separate request for that individual, enabling you to adjust it independently.

Multiple Personnel Selection: When creating or editing a request, you can now select multiple people at once. This streamlines the process and makes it easier to manage requests involving several individuals.

Qualification Categories

Users will now be able to add Qualifications to specific Qualification Categories for reporting purposes. 

Qualification Categories can be added from the Qualifications section in the Admin menu. Qualification Types have been renamed to Equivalency Groups.

This will allow users to run the Qualifications Report for specific Qualification Categories without having to select each Qualification. The report will show every Qualification added to the selected category/categories.
