Enhancements

Trackit Energy made some enhancements to the Admin, POB, Resource Plan modules and Help files to improve consistency and add additional functionality.

Admin Menu – Qualifications & Roles
Setting up Qualifications and Roles moved from the Personnel Setup section to the Admin Menu. As Qualifications and Roles are being used in multiple modules, Trackit decided to move them to the Admin Menu to make provision for additional functionality and enhancements.

A separate permission was added to access Qualifications and Roles. This permission will be enabled for any personnel who previously had the Qualifications permission enabled in the Personnel module.

No changes were made to the menus and sub-menus for Qualifications and Roles and updating Qualifications and Roles for personnel remains within the Personnel Module

Admin Menu – Qualifications
When adding or editing Qualifications, the user now has the option to specify how the qualification will be used i.e. Personnel, Company or Activity

The Qualifications grid will display the areas the qualifications were setup for

Admin Menu – Roles
Similar to Qualifications, Roles can now also be specified on where they will be used i.e. Personnel, Company or Activity

The Roles grid will also display the new Areas

Admin Menu – Companies
A few minor changes were made to the Company List for a better user experience. A Created Date filter was added to this section to allow a user to search for Companies created within a specific date range and the date range filters were removed from the grid.

POB – Day Trippers
Enhancements were made to cater for day trippers from one POB location to another POB location. To ensure POB details like Days on Board, Muster Stations, Lifeboat etc is not lost or reset if personnel are scheduled for a day trip to a different POB location, the system will look at scheduled flights for the day. If personnel are scheduled to depart from a POB location to a another POB location and the same personnel are scheduled on a different flight to return to the POB location on the same day, the Days on Board, Muster Stations, Lifeboat etc information will not be reset or cleared. When the personnel arrive at the new POB location, they will be listed as POB Visitors. When they depart from the POB, they will be removed and on arrival at the first POB location will bet set as On Board again.


Help Files
The icon to access the Help Files was moved to the top right-hand side of the screen.

When the user clicks on the Icon, a new window will appear with access to the Help Files


Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue where the Logo did not appear on Manifests for some users
Fixed an issue in Resource Plan Activities where the warning to display invalid passengers were missing for some users
Fixed an issue in Resource Plan Activities where changing personnel from the Activity grid did not save

Enhancements

Trackit Energy made some enhancements to the Admin, Resource Plan and Marine modules to improve consistency and add additional functionality.

Admin Menu – Company List
New columns have been added to the Company List grid. To manage the columns, select the Manage Columns button and enable/disable the required columns. Columns can also be rearranged by dragging and dropping them. When done, select either Save As User Default or Save As Instance Default at the bottom of the page and click in Save.

Created and Last Modified Columns
The Created and Last Modified columns will show the date and time the Company was created or last edited.

Export
Clicking on Export to Excel will export the display to an Excel file

Resource Plan - Overview
If a request, that has already been allocated to a flight in the Allocator, is edited and re-approved, the flight icon for the already allocated flight will remain in the grid.

Resource Plan – Plan & Activity
The warning to confirm if a request requires re-confirmation after editing the request, will only appear if the resource providing company has the Resource Plan Allocator Approval Required box checked in the Company List. If the request does not need re-confirmation, the status will change to Awaiting Approval after saving and will still need to be approved again.

Marine
The Marine module will now allow users to add passengers to more than one location of a voyage. This will make it easier to schedule day trippers and being able to embark and disembark passengers at multiple locations of a voyage

Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue in the Resource Plan where no warning appeared when creating overlapping dates in an Activity

Fixed an issue where the Muster Reports did not sort by Muster Station

Fixed an issue for some users where automated reports were sent multiple times

Fixed an issue in POB for some users where Days On Board displayed as -1

Fixed an issue in the Resource Plan where shift patterns did not show correctly for TBA’s in the Overview screen

Enhancements

Trackit Energy made some enhancements to the Aviation, Marine, Personnel and Resource Plan modules to improve consistency and add additional functionality.

Aviation - Booking
A new Passenger and Cargo list button was added to print a list with just the basic information of the flight, passengers and cargo. To access the list, click on the three dots next to the Print Full Details button and select Print PAX & Cargo List

Marine - Plan
Planning a voyage will now work similar to planning a flight. When a creating a Voyage, the Add Voyage tray will appear with the Details and Route tabs on the left-hand side. Use the Details tab to enter the basic details of the voyage


After completing the Details, select the Route tab to add locations. Click on the Add Locations button to open location selector

Find the required locations and click on the Add button. Locations can also be found by typing the location name in the Search bar. Similar to Aviation, the locations can be dragged and dropped to rearrange the route. The Working Time can also be set to determine how long the vessel is planned to stay at the location before departing to the next location. To go back to the Details tab, click on the X above the search box to close the location selector.

Marine – Plan – Edit
To edit the Voyage Details, click on the Edit Voyage button on the top right-hand side when selecting a voyage from the Calendar. The Edit Voyage tray will appear with the details of the voyage. Make the changes as required and click on Save at the bottom of the screen


To edit the Voyage Route, select the three dots next to the Edit Voyage button on the top right-hand side when selecting a voyage from the Calendar and select Edit Voyage Route. The Edit Voyage Route tray will appear. Click on the Add locations button to open the location selector and make the changes as required and click on Save at the bottom of the screen.

Personnel - Reports
A new report called Roles By Person was added to the list of reports. The report can be run to show personnel with specific roles, personnel with no roles or all personnel with all their roles. The report can also be exported to Excel by clicking the Export to Excel button on the right-hand side of the screen

Resource Plan – Activities
When attempting to delete and Activity Reference and requests have already been generated for the activity, a warning will appear advising the user to first delete the generated requests. This will ensure that all other views and modules are updated accordingly.

To delete any generated requests, edit the Activity Reference and delete the requests in the grid. After deleting the requests, the Activity Reference can be deleted.

Resource Plan – Forecast
Requests requiring marine transport will now be displayed separately in the Forecast View under Inbound Voyages and Outbound Voyages within the grid

Resource Plan – Day trippers
Creating a request and selecting a roster setup for Day Trippers, will now create inbound and outbound travel requests for each day for the selected dates

Resource Plan – Activity
The Activity Reference ID as well as the Resource Required Count columns can be added to the grid by using the Manage Columns button

Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue in POB Accommodation where not all dates were updated after editing someone’s arrival and departure details
Fixed and error when clicking on “Go To POB” on the Dashboard did not work

Fixed and issue in Resource Plan where the Filter option and column names were overlapping for some users
Fixed and issue in the Admin Menu when creating or editing a Roster caused an error when selecting an RDO
Fixed an issue in the Personnel module where listing the Group Companies loaded inconsistently for some users
Fixed and issue in Resource Plan where unapproved bookings appeared in the "Remaining POB with Approved Activity" grid
Fixed and issue when editing a Personnel Request in the Resource Plan Activity screen caused an error
Fixed an issue where accommodation conflicts appear in red if personnel were checked into bunks on the same day the previous personnel checked out

Enhancements

Trackit Energy made some enhancements to the POB module to perform additional bulk functionalities and track the validity of qualifications in POB locations.

POB - Plan
The new Plan grid will have a new column with an Info button that will display the person’s current, missing, about to expire and expired qualifications required for the POB Location. Any person with an expired or missing qualification will be displayed in red. Personnel with qualifications that will expire within 28 days will be displayed in yellow. Clicking on the person’s name will open a new browser tab to the person’s Personnel Profile.


POB – Plan Continued
From this view bulk Check In and bulk Delete can also be performed by selecting the people required and then clicking on the three dots next to the Edit button and selecting Check In or Delete as required.


Bulk Check In can also be performed when using the Add Multiple People function.

POB – Plan Continued
When booking or checking in any personnel with expired or missing qualifications required for the POB Location, a warning will appear asking the user to continue or cancel the action.


Bulk edit can be performed by selecting the personnel and then clicking on the Edit button at the bottom of the screen.


POB – Plan Continued
A new Qualified column has also been added. To enable the column, click on Manage Columns and select the check box for Qualified. To keep the column selected for future use, choose either Set As User Default or Set As Instance Default at the bottom of the page before saving.


POB – Plan Export
The POB Plan grid can be exported to Excel by clicking on the Export to Excel button.


To export the Plan grid in PDF, select the three dots next to the Export to Excel button and select Export to PDF.

Enhancements

Trackit Energy made some enhancements to the Aviation, POB and Resource Plan modules and resolved a number of bugs encountered by some users.

Aviation – Check In/Out
Files/Documents can be uploaded by selecting the Files tab in the Check In/Out section and then selecting the blue Select files button. Files uploaded in the Booking section will also be visible in the Check In/Out section.

Aviation - Booking
Setting the “Set down time” for a location will now be done after the location was added. The Set down time box will appear when the next location is added to the route. The user can now adjust the set down for each location at any time without having to rebuild the flight route.

 

POB – Plan
A new column has been added to the Plan screen to show the number of days on board.

If the column is not visible, select the Manage Columns button just above the grid and select the check box for the Days On Board column and click on Save. To keep the setting select either “Set As User Default?” or “Set As Instance Default” before clicking on Save.

Resource Plan – Activity & Allocator
When editing an Activity and changing the assigned person, the Allocator module will be updated with the new assigned person and the previous person’s request will be removed from the Allocator.

Resource Plan – Activity
If a Travel Mode was selected when adding a request, the Departure Location will be mandatory when generating the request.

Fixed an issue where the remaining bunk number on the Resource Plan Forecast View was wrong for some users

Fixed an issue where the header for the User Roles in the Admin menu was missing

Fixed an issue where the column headers were wrong after exporting the Qualifications Reports

Fixed an issue for some users when editing an Activity Reference name did not save

Fixed the layout for the Accommodation view in the POB module where names were not fully visible

Fixed an issue where some Widgets did not display correctly

Fixed an issue when using special characters for Emergency Roles caused an error when adding new bookings in the POB module

Enhancements 

Trackit Energy made some enhancements to the Resource Plan and resolved a few bugs. 

Resource Plan – Forecast 
The Remaining Bunks will now show the number of remaining bunks in relation to the number of bunks created for the POB Location. The Remaining POB will show the number of remaining POB in relation to the POB – MAX number as setup in the location settings.  

 

Resource Plan – Plan – New Personnel Request 
Choosing a Travel Mode when creating a New Personnel Request, will make the Departure Location mandatory. The same logic will be applied when creating a new Activity request in the Activity screen. Development for the Activity screen is in progress and will be ready with the next release. 

  

 

Bug Fixes 
Fixed an issue where inactive locations were visible in the Resource Plan module 
Fixed an issue where some dates were created incorrectly due to different time zones 
Fixed an issue where some users received and error when attempting to set an unscheduled arrival in POB

Enhancements 

Trackit Energy made some enhancements to the User Roles and Marine Module for an improved user experience and to reduce the number of clicks to perform specific tasks. 

Admin Menu – User Roles 
When editing the Permissions for a User Role, all changes will automatically be applied to all users assigned to that Role 

  

Marine - Calendar 
The user now has the option to view only specific Voyage Types and have the option to display or hide Outages by selecting or deselecting the Checkboxes above the Calendar 

  

 

Bug Fixes 
Fixed an issue where deleted shifts were not removed from the Personnel Calendar 
Fixed an issue where an error was displayed if the user clicked on the Remove button in Resource Plan when editing a Personnel Request 
Fixed an issue where TBA’s that were removed were still visible on in the Resource Plan Overview grid 
Fixed an issue where Flight Notes were removed after editing the flight route 
Fixed an issue where flight routes could not be dragged and dropped if “Show Map” was deselected

Enhancements

Trackit Energy made some enhancements to the Marine module to improve consistency and reduce the number of clicks as well as to the Inventory module to improve CHE Management

Marine - Action
The user can now navigate directly to specific voyage legs by using the dropdown list instead of returning to the Action menu.

A new button has been added to the Voyage Details tab to allow the user to navigate straight to the voyage’s Overview screen in the Plan section.

Marine – Plan
A new button has been added to the Overview tab to allow the user to navigate straight to the specific leg’s Voyage Details tab in the Action section.

Inventory
Container Types and Container Management moved from the Marine module to the Inventory module.


Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue where some users were unable to unallocate passengers in the Allocator Flight Details tab.
Fixed a validation error if the user did not select a Leave Type when adding leave in the Personnel module
Fixed an issue where “0” values did not display in the Overview grid in Resource Plan
Fixed an issue in Resource Plan where the Start and End Dates for an Activity did not save if the user did not use the Date Picker.
Fixed an issue where Operational Data disappeared after editing a flight.

Marine 
New warning messages when attempting to create a voyage when the vessel is scheduled for an outage. 

 

 Personnel – Leave Calendar 
Ability to view the Leave Calendar for a specific date range. 

 

Personnel - Export Leave Calendar 
The Leave Calendar can now also be exported to Excel. 

 

 Survival Suits 
Enhancements to the Survival Suit module with better Search, Allocate and Return functionality to keep track of survival suits.


Resource Plan & Allocator Integration
When editing or deleting travel requests in the Resource Plan and after approval, the travel requests in the Allocator module will be updated accordingly. Re-confirmation will need to be confirmed whenever a request is changed. If re-confirmation is required, the status will be changed to 
In Progress. If re-confirmation is not required, the status will be changed to Awaiting Approval.

 

Added ability to manage columns on the Plan and Overview screens. The user can add, remove and re-order columns and save the preference either as a User Default or an Instance Default.

 

Requests awaiting approval can now be approved from the Overview screen. To open the tray, click on a cell of a request that requires approval. On the tray that opens, select Approve at the bottom of the page.

 

The Requester now also have the ability to select “Set as Confirmed” for requests with the status of In Progress. 

 

Bug Fixes 
Fixed a problem in Resource Plan where people without the required Roles appeared as green.
Fixed a problem in Resource Plan where Equipment Requests displayed incorrectly on the Overview screen.
Fixed a problem in Allocator where the date filters were not updated in the Approve tab.
Fixed an error where voyage times were not updated when editing a voyage in Chrome and Edge.

Enhancements

Trackit Energy made some changes to the Navigation Menu and the Aviation module for a better user experience as well as to the Personnel module for added security.

Main Navigation Menu

New look Main Navigation – The ability to collapse the menu and have quick access to the sub-menus for all Modules

Administration Menu
The new Admin Menu also gives the user quick access to all Admin settings and can be displayed by clicking on the cog on the top right-hand side of the screen. When the Admin Menu is expanded, the Main Navigation on the left-hand side will be collapsed.


Aviation Module – Booking
The Create Flight function is now split between Details and Route. The Details tab holds the basic flight information.


The new Route tab makes it easier to plan the flight route with a visual overview of the route. Locations can also be dragged on dropped after adding them to the flight to change the order.


Edit Flight
To edit the Flight Details, click on the Edit Flight button.


To edit the Flight Route, click on the three dots next to the Edit Flight button and select Edit Flight Route. This will open the tray that will allow the user to add, remove or re-order Locations.


Check In / Out
The user can now navigate directly to specific legs by using the dropdown list instead of scrolling through each leg.


A new button has been added to the Flight Details tab to allow the user to navigate straight to the flight’s Booking Details screen.


The user can also navigate straight to the Check In page for a specific leg from the Overview tab in the Booking Details screen of the flight. The button will only be visible if the flight has been approved.


Personnel Module
Administrators will have the ability to hide HR confidential information. Fields with an icon next to them will be hidden if the user does not have the HR Confidential Info permission.


Bug Fixes

Fixed a problem where the Edit button for passengers did not work in the Booking section.
Fixed a problem where TBA requests were not visible in the Resource Plan Overview
Fixed the layout in the Admin Menu when editing a User group
