GIPHY search has been integrated into our image uploader to help you find the perfect GIF to compliment your course content. Anywhere you can add an image, you can now search for, and add an animated GIF. 

Note: don't crop your GIF as it will be converted into a JPG and will not animate.

Sharing a course with learners, and tracking how they are doing is easier than ever with our brand new share and learners modals (popups). These modals can be accessed from both the courses dashboard or from within the course builder. 

Prior to this release, course learners and the sharing functionality were combined. We chose to decouple this functionality in order to simplify the process for each task. 

Sharing your course

You can now access all 3 enrolment options from a single share menu. These options include:  

1. Sharing via email (add new or existing users & existing groups)
2. Share with a link — copy a link and deliver it to your users any way you choose. 
3. Share with embed code — get an embed code to share courses on your website. 

Course learners modal

The new learners modal provides a quick and easy view of all learners enrolled in a course. This can be accessed from either the courses dashboard, or from within the course builder. Another plus is the ability to track the progress of all learners, grouped or ungrouped.

Layout options

Switch between Left, Right, or Center aligned layout options. 

Fit, fill, plus resize image options

Add an image at any ratio or size you want, and it will automatically fit to the container. If you want to show the entire image, you can toggle the image fit option. If you want to make the image take up more space on the card, simply drag the image container downwards to make it taller. 

SmartColor™

SmartColor™ has been introduced to automatically pick a different color for each individual item based on your primary workspace color. You can override the workspace color from the advanced settings menu if you want the gradient to be based off a different color.

If you don't want to use SmartColor™ at all, don’t worry, you can change each individual item color to be whatever you like.

Take charge of how your courses are displayed on the learner dashboard by setting a default sort option. 

Currently ‘Recently viewed’ is the default sort option, but if you want your courses to be displayed in alphabetical order every time a learner goes to their dashboard, set the default to 'Course name'. 

You can access this setting from the workspace settings section. Note, you'll need to be an Administrator to do this.

We've just released auto-save for the course builder so you no longer need to worry about saving your work!

How do I know if my work has been saved?

We've added a subtle indicator to the header of the course builder to assure you that your changes are being saved.

Key points to note:

1. There is no longer a cancel button on lesson & quiz screens, so the only way to step back a change is to use the publish modal and click the revert button. Or if you are using the text editor, use the command/control + z keys on your keyboard. 
2. Many of the modal/pop-up windows still require you to click a save button

Hi there, 

We've just released an exciting update to the Select correct image challenge screen. The update includes inline editing, our SmartLayout™ grid system, and improved navigation for learners. 

Question slides

Each question now appears as a seperate slide, with the next slide always visible, letting learners know there is more to come. Just to be sure, we've also added slide numbers. 

Adjust the height of rows

SmartLayout™ allows you to click and drag between rows to increase the height of all rows to display larger images. 

Fit and fill image options

Images added to this screen no longer need to be cropped. Just add an image, and it fills the allocated space. If you want to show the entire image, toggle the image fit option. 

Other notable changes

This release includes intuitive inline editing so you can see exactly what the learner will see as you create the screen. 

You can now re-order items from the advanced settings menu.

As course creators, it was very frustrating when we wanted to change the screen type because you would have to start from scratch. To solve that, we added support for screen switching. You can now switch between various screen types without having to start from scratch!
