🤩 New Resource Centre, Gifs in Auditorium, Scheduled Mock-Live to On-Demand State
As promised in our last update, our dev team has been working on some really 🧊 cool updates to key areas of our platform and we are excited to share them with you in this update. We have tweaked and restyled our Resource Centre, added Gifs to Auditorium and added a little cool feature to Webcasts. Grab a hot (or cool) drink and let's dive in!
👨🎨 Restyled Resource Centre
We have restyled the Resource Centre from the ground up, here is what's new:
- Tweaked the thumbnails to have rounded corners to bring a more friendly look.
- Search now works by title rather than by tags, so your delegates can still find content if there are no tags attached.
- Removed additional icons in the info panel and only left the 'add to bag' icon.
- The action buttons like 'open' or 'watch' are now accessible on hover and the info panel will appear as you hover over the thumbnail.
- Added colourful default thumbnails for files, videos, and links so even if you forget to add an image your Resource Centre will still look nice and friendly to your audience.
- Order in the Resource Centre can now be changed in the Admin Area, so you can re-order files and folders as you wish them to appear.
🖼 Gifs in Auditorium Shows
You can now add Gifs into Auditorium Show images, which means you can throw in a nice dynamic graphic or showcase multiple presenters in one image, like we have done below.
You can add these Speaker images when creating or updating an Auditorium Show.
Just note, gifs have to be the exact dimensions in order for them to work 🙂.
⏰ Schedule Mock-Live Webcasts to go On Demand
We know how much you like using Mock-Live webcasts to bring that magic element of a live presentation whilst using pre-recorded content. But there was always something missing when you wanted to make that content On-Demand straight away. Well, now you can.
When creating or even updating your existing Mock-Live webcasts, you can schedule when your Mock-Live webcasts switch to On-Demand. This works great when you have a bunch of Mock-Live webcasts that need to automatically switch once they have stopped playing, creating the full effect of a Live presentation. The webcast will also automatically update the Auditorium Show and move it into the On-Demand tab.
We hope you like the updates, and give us a shout if you have any questions!
