π New Training & Support Centre is Here!
Hi All! Happy New Year and we hope you managed to get a good holiday break!
Just before the end of 2020 we announced a few exciting things that we are working on, and our new training & support centre is one of them.
With the launch of the new training & support centre we aim to make the knowledge about our platform more accessible and tailored, with more advice articles than before, better and more detailed instructions with videos, individual live training sessions + new ways to get support on the day!
Knowledge base
We have restructured our knowledge base into sections that relate to what your experience with our platform will be. You as administrators will have all of the guides relating to the setup of the event in Guides for Event Hosts section and you can point your exhibitors, speakers and attendees to visit sections that are tailored to what they need to know.
We also wanted to include more advice guides for you to help you with the setup of your event and provide our top tips on making the most out of a virtual event in iVent. We will be improving these guides as we go along, and more will be coming soon in various sections in the training & support centre.
You will also be able to get access to our latest news and updates directly in the centre, submit change requests and event dates without ever having to leave the centre. It's all now in one unified place!
👋 🤖 Say hello to our AI bot! It will always be with you in the centre, helping you find the right article for what you are looking for. Just ask a question!
Training
As part of our efforts to improve your support experience with us, we are going to launch additional training sessions that you can book onto. Those sessions would be handled by our training team who will cover specific areas of the platform i.e. webcasting, reporting or email campaigns. We hope our guides will provide enough guidance for you and our training sessions will help out when you get stuck. For more details on training, please speak to your Account Manager.
Support
We will also be offering new support channels to reach us on the live day. Each support plan can be bundled in with given training, and these would be called Bronze, Silver and Gold.
Each plan will come with their bundled support options i.e. tickets, live chat or phone support and you will have the option to customise the plan as well. You will be able to purchase a support plan per each event as you wish, for more details please speak with your Account Manager.
How to get access to the new training & support centre?
You can access our new training & support centre through here: support.ivent-hq.com
In the next few days we will begin to onboard all of our customers, so you will receive an email on behalf of Zendesk to set up your password and sign in. To access all of the above listed features you would need to be signed into the centre. If you haven't received your welcome email by Friday (22nd January) please speak to your Event Project Manager or Account Manager.
Don't worry, the old Knowledge Base and Service Desk will remain available until 4th February 2021 during the transition period after which the access will be disabled.
We know this might be a big change for some of you, so if you are unsure about something please do let us know :) You can get in touch with your Event Project Manager or Account Manager directly.
Have a great week ahead!!
