A mini update to DeathRun is now rolling out across all regions. This update brings some quality of life improvements to the game.

Best Times

• Best times (personal bests) are now stored for each map you complete.
• Running through a portal on a map with a pre-existing best time will tell you if you are faster/slower than your current best.
• Added a new lobby setting to enable/disable portal delta (faster/slower) time notifications.
• Added a best time modal to the lobby to view all your times.

Changes

• Finishing in the top 3 runners will now grant you an additional 30xp.
• Deaths are now given an objective to stop X players from finishing the map to get a victory. This is dynamically chosen based on the game's player count.

Developer note: We hope this update will make getting victories as a death easier and more rewarding. We also know that new maps are highly requested. Although we have no news to share about new maps right now, we'll let you know when we do!

It's time to play a brand new DeathRun map: Steampunk! This is the third and final DeathRun map from this set (Tokai, Flora, and Steampunk).

Steampunk introduces some brand new traps. We hope you enjoy them!

Our level designers have been busy creating three new DeathRun maps for you to enjoy. Today we are adding the first of the three new maps: Tokai.

Developer note: We understand some players may be disappointed that this update doesn't include a new costume. This is because the costume for this game is granted at a lower level. We plan to add more levels to DeathRun in the future and shall grant a new costume at level 100.
