A mini update has been released for Just Build, and is rolling out to all regions now!

New Block Toggles

Block toggles allow you to right-click (or long-press if on a mobile device) a block to change its appearance or state. You can now toggle the appearance of the following blocks:

• Chiseled Bookshelves (to configure books)
• Bee Nests and Beehives (to adjust honey level)
• Candles (to toggle them lit or unlit)
• Copper Bulbs (to toggle them on or off)
• Turtle Eggs and Sniffer Egg (to adjust how cracked they are)
• Sculk Sensors (to adjust the state)

Decorated Pots & Banners

You can now change the appearance of certain blocks by right-clicking (or long-pressing if on a mobile device) them with items.

• Right-click a Decorated Pot with sherds to change its appearance
• Right-click a Banner with a pattern or dye to change its appearance

Bug Fixes

• Fixed an issue that prevented certain blocks from being taken out of the creative inventory

An update is now deploying to all regions. This update introduces a new Capture The Flag map and enables our fall seasonal content.

New Capture The Flag Map: Rift

Seasonal Content

• The main hub has had a fall-themed reskin!
• Fall maps are now enabled in voting menus, and summer maps are now vaulted (but still available in custom servers)

Bug Fixes

• Fixed a bug causing potion effect particles to not be shown on some Minecraft versions.
• Fixed issues related to creative inventories in preparation for the Just Build update.

A mini update to DeathRun is now rolling out across all regions. This update brings some quality of life improvements to the game.

Best Times

• Best times (personal bests) are now stored for each map you complete.
• Running through a portal on a map with a pre-existing best time will tell you if you are faster/slower than your current best.
• Added a new lobby setting to enable/disable portal delta (faster/slower) time notifications.
• Added a best time modal to the lobby to view all your times.

Changes

• Finishing in the top 3 runners will now grant you an additional 30xp.
• Deaths are now given an objective to stop X players from finishing the map to get a victory. This is dynamically chosen based on the game's player count.

Developer note: We hope this update will make getting victories as a death easier and more rewarding. We also know that new maps are highly requested. Although we have no news to share about new maps right now, we'll let you know when we do!

A mini update to Gravity is now rolling out across all regions. This update brings new maps, and some quality of life improvements.

• Modified game-timer shortening to occur after 3 players have finished, up from 1 player
• Best times are now displayed in a modal that can be accessed via the lobby

• Fixed a bug where setting the custom amount of maps in a custom server to 10 only gave players 9 maps

Star Coins collected in Parkour Worlds can now be spent at the Star Merchant!

The Star Merchant can be found in the Parkour Worlds microhub and offers a range of unique unlocks and cosmetics, including avatars, costumes, and various game unlocks.

Access to worlds is based on the total number of Star Coins that you have earned; spending Star Coins will not revoke your access to worlds that you have unlocked, nor hinder your ability to unlock worlds in the future, should more be added.

More Star Coins will be available in the future—don't worry if you can't unlock everything just yet!

Update (September 12, 2024): Based on feedback we have adjusted the short-range arrow nerf to always give knockback, and we have reduced the range from 6 blocks, to 5.

A mini update for Capture The Flag is rolling out now, it introduces quality-of-life changes, new unlocks, and bug fixes!

Changes

• The inventory can now be re-arranged before the game starts
• A visual damage radius will now appear around placed instant TNT
• Short-range arrow damage has been nerfed—any arrows that hit a player within 6 blocks will have their damage halved
  • A custom server setting has been added that allows you to modify the range of the damage nerf, or disable it

New Unlock Category: Armor Trims

When equipped, armor trims will display your team's color. Various armor trim patterns can be unlocked at existing levels:

• Eye
• Snout
• Tide
• Vex
• Ward
• Silence

Bug Fixes

• Fixed a bug that prevented players from using a teleporter despite not carrying a flag

Spice up your look this season... The Pumpkin Spice costume is now in the Quest Store!

Double XP has been enabled in all SkyWars modes!

All SkyWars games will award double XP until Tuesday, September 3rd at midday (UTC).
