Tarrasque.io v0.6.2

Hi guys! A few bugfixes and improvements in this release while I get ready to work on the unauthenticated guest view (please someone suggest a better name for it 🤪). Here's what's new:
  • Upload limits have been increased! For Titans, 100 MB per file (up from 20 MB), and 1 GB total storage (up from 100 MB) and for Legends, 500 MB per file (up from 100 MB), and 5 GB total storage (up from 1 GB). Could this be a hint for more upload formats?
  • Don't blink or you'll miss it! A new loading animation is here, even though you'll probably never see it since it barely stays on-screen for half a second!
 
  • Who doesn't like colors? The grid settings have been updated to allow you to enter any color value so that you can make those lines fit right into your map!
  • Form submit buttons now show a progress indicator to let you know that something is going on!
  • A new indicator for the HP adjuster makes it feel right at home in the Combat Tracker 😌
  • The active combatant pulsing ring now works with tokens that contain transparent areas!
  • Some browsers don't like the "Backspace" key being overridden, so you can now also use the "Delete" key to delete tokens and fog!
  • Dark mode preference is now stored in the database as opposed to cookies. You'll have to give those cookies back, but thankfully the preference actually persists now!

Tarrasque.io v0.6.1

Hi guys, just a quick hotfix to deal with some issues that were quickly brought up by our amazing Discord community!
  • Fixed a horribly-timed issue with image uploads not working after v0.6.0
  • Fixed an issue with an unnecessary scrollbar on navigation in some browsers
  • Some browsers sorted combatants differently, this is now resolved!

Tarrasque.io v0.6.0: HP Adjuster

Hi everyone! 👋 Say hello to the ability to heal or damage a combatant - no more of those pesky maths at the table! Plus a few bug fixes 🤭
  • You can finally apply healing or damage to a combatant!
  • Fixed an issue where the context menu would show up while dragging a token
  • Fixed real-time updates on iOS devices
  • Fixed an issue with Fog of War refusing to stop drawing when double-clicking on the circular points
  • Fixed a bug with the highlighted token always being circular regardless of user preferences
  • User avatar style is now consistent with the user's token style preference 🤪

Tarrasque.io v0.5.3

Hi everyone! This release marks touch screen devices as officially-supported vessels for Tarrasque.io, and it comes with a few fixes and a small quality-of-life feature. Enjoy!
  • Touch devices are now officially supported! Some UX changes in this release, plus a small fix for a sometimes-squished navigation bar. More touch-related fixes to come!
  • Fixed an issue with the grid which caused changes to be bundled up together. Now you can actually see the grid changing in real-time, which should make it even faster to align the grid to your maps!
  • Fixed a typo in creature creation where monsters would get "Rections" instead of the usual "Reactions".
  • Added support for non-round tokens - no more chopped corners!
  • User panel and user settings overhaul. You can now see who you are (in case you forget), your Patreon tier, and change your token style variant from the settings. Also, some things moved around to make it easier to find your way.

Tarrasque.io v0.5.2

Hi guys! This release includes a couple of small features and some minor fixes for touch devices, enjoy!
  • You can now show the active combatant on the map!
  • Undo the previous point while drawing in Fog of War by right-clicking!
  • There's now a hovering toolbar when editing stat blocks with additional formatting options like headings and bulleted lists!
 
  • Fixed an issue with right-click/context menu not working on iOS devices for tokens and Fog of War - you can now long-press as well as right-click!
  • Fixed an issue with stat blocks being moved when scrolling them on a touch screen - there's a dedicated button to move the stat block now

Tarrasque.io v0.5.1

Hi all! The first round of fixes after Fog of War is done! This release includes the heavily-requested "Show only adventurer HP bars" feature, some minor bug fixes, as well as improved touch support.
  • Added ability to show only adventurer or monster HP bars on the map!
  • Added toaster buttons for drawing Fog of War on tablets easier!
  • Added undo/redo and Fog of War related shortcuts to Keyboard Shortcuts dialog
  • Fixed an issue with being unable to write multi-line content in Firefox
  • Fixed an issue with not being able to bold or italicize text in Stat Blocks
  • Fixed an issue where grid didn't update in real-time in Guest View

Tarrasque.io v0.5.0: Fog of War

The wait is over! Huge thanks to everyone for your support and patience with this release. Here's what's changed:
  • You can now draw Fog of War polygons using the new Fog tool! (semi-transparent in DM View and opaque in Guest View)
  • You can now hide a token from Guest View (right-click on the token and click Hide!)
  • Ability to delete a fogged area (right-click on fog and click Delete or just select it and press Backspace on your keyboard!)
  • Resize fog (just drag one of the polygon points!)
  • Undo/redo fog changes
  • Battle Map waits for Fog of War before loading - no peeking!
  • Real-time Fog of War updates, no need to reload Guest View to see what's changed
  • Added Fog of War example on the sample map
  • You can pause Fog of War mid-way in case you need to zoom in or drag the map by simply switching to the Pan tool!
