Hold booking slot ⏸️

Give your customers the time they need! Once a customer selects a time and begins filling out their information, we'll hold this slot for them for 10 minutes. When 9 minutes have passed, if they haven't submitted the form yet, we'll nudge them asking if they want to continue with the booking. If not, we'll release the booking slot for others.

This is currently only available for certain customers. Want to enable it? Let us know!

Print visits 🖨️

You can now print your visits from the Customers tab! It'll include all data fields that each customer has filled out. If you want to customize what the print-out looks like, you can simply do that with an HTML template.

Daily booking limit for Services and Resources

You can now add a maximum number of bookings per day for each of your Services and Resources! This is easily configurable when you edit them, in the field "Max bookings per day."

If you've enabled bookings, you can configure a maximum daily limit for each Resource under Team -> Resources and the maximum daily limit for each Service under Location -> Services. 

Important to note:

• If a specific day is fully booked, a guest can still book the Resource for another day.

• The maximum daily limit is based on bookings, not on how many people got served. 

• The maximum daily limit is applied per location.

Ciao! We now support Italian as a language 🇮🇹

Wherever your customers are, and whatever language they speak, Waitwhile can accommodate. We now support Italian as a language both within the product for your team, and for your customers on your Waitlist/Booking pages.

You can update your language in two places:

• For your Italian speaking customers, go to Settings ->Styling -> Localization and choose Italian from the drop-down.

• For your team, go to Account Settings -> Your profile -> Language and choose Italian from the drop-down.

Increased flexibility with Geo-fencing 🌎

Under Settings → Location → Waitlist or Bookings you'll find the functionality to add "Geo-fencing" to your waitlist or bookings. 

What is Geo-fencing? Great question. Geo-fencing makes it easy for you to restrict your guests' ability to add themselves to the waitlist or book an appointment unless they are nearby, within the radius you set around your business. You can also specify a different location than your regular business address as the starting point if you want.

Faster Bookings page 🗓️

We've listened to your Bookings page feedback and are excited to introduce changes that will improve speed! You should no longer experience delays when creating and clicking on Bookings 🎉 

Coming soon: Loading today's Bookings first and only loading 50 bookings at a time in the list view. 

We'll let you know when those are live too!

Welcome to the new kiosk mode ​​🤩

We've been working on ways to improve your customers' experience when they sign up from a kiosk. Here's what cooking 🍳

1. After signing up, customers won't be able to stay on the confirmation page but will automatically be redirected to the start page so the kiosk is ready for the next person to sign up. 

2. The "powered by Waitwhile" text is not clickable, in order to ensure your customers stay on the right page.

3. We've removed recaptcha from kiosk mode, so your customers won't experience any recaptcha related failures. 

Just make sure that in your kiosks, you're using the specific kiosk URL. It should include ?kiosk=true at the end of the URL.

Ticket number for your guest experience 🎟️​

We have some awesome news! Ticket numbers on the public pages have now been officially launched!

Ever wanted to have your customers sign up to your waitlist or make a booking without providing any personal data? Now you can! 🎉

This is how to set it up: 

1. Go to Settings > Customers > Input fields

2. Scroll down to "Display fields", and toggle on "Show ticket ID for customer". This will make sure both your staff see it internally on the waitlist/booking pages, as well as your customers seeing it on their end when signing up. 

3. You're all set! Your customers will now receive a ticket number if they sign up to a waitlist or make a booking.

No more manual version updates ✌️​

We've been super busy over the last few weeks, and we're excited to share our updates! 🎉

We've now changed the way our version updates work ⚡️. In the past, you would receive a banner at the top of the product where you'd have to click the update button to get the newest version. 

Now, we're handling that automatically for you! So any time you navigate to a new page or refresh your page, we'll automatically make sure you get the newest version. 

Say goodbye to manual updates, you won't be missed 👋

Customize Resources & Services through our API

We have now launched meta attributes for services and resources! 🤩

This will allow you to use our API to store custom data about services and resources that isn't standard within Waitwhile. This could be anything you like, such as staff data coming from your CRM system or discounts for services for example.
