Extra security for your Earth Class Mail account!

We are happy to announce that all Earth Class Mail accounts now come with Two-Factor Authentication (2FA). The 2FA feature is an authentication method that requires providing an additional verification factor to confirm your user identity and grant account access. Once you take steps to enable 2FA, even if your password becomes compromised, your account will still be protected as the person trying to access it will have to provide a unique one-time verification code. The verification code is only available to the person in possession of the mobile device used to set up 2FA.

To enable 2FA, please follow the six easy steps below.

Step One: 

To activate your 2FA feature, navigate to the 

Settings > Security tab.

Step Two: 

Select the preferred authentication option: SMS code, Authenticator app, or choose both.

Step Three:

If you choose the SMS code, you will receive a one-time verification code delivered to your mobile phone device via an SMS message. First, a mobile number will be required. If you already have an active mobile number in your account, skip to step four.

Step Four:

Once your telephone is verified, you will receive a verification code on your mobile device. Enter the code in the SMS authentication box.

Step Five:

If you want to enable 2FA via an authenticator application (e.g., Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, or Authy), use the QR code on your screen. 

Step Six: 

Once 2FA is enabled, your backup code will automatically generate and appear on your screen. Please keep this number in a safe place. If you lose access to your verification method, you will need this code to access your account.

The new Earth Class Mail© app for Android™ is here!

The new Android™ app has been released on Google Play.   Our customers will now be able to access their mail wherever they are--without having to be near their mailbox, their computer, or even in the same country as their mail.

New features

The new Android™ app allows you to set notifications, receive mail remotely, see incoming mail, view scans of the exterior mail, and email the contents in a text-searchable PDF.  You also have additional choices to archive, shred, and download to your favorite cloud provider, or store your mail in our warehouse - for an additional fee after 30 days.

More to come

We are currently working on adding more features to the Android™ app. Some features such as requesting shipments or check deposits, moving items between folders or another recipient are not available with this release. These features and more will be developed iteratively in the next releases.

Customers can now upgrade or downgrade their subscription plan within the Earth Class Mail web application. This gives our customers more flexibility and control over their subscription plan with the ability to change their subscription plan depending on their needs. This feature can be accessed by navigating to Account Settings -> Account Management -> Change Plan.

June 30th, 2020

  • We consolidated the billing setting and account management settings into a single multi-tabbed view.
  • We added the ability to toggle between FileRoom and the reserved storage add-ons directly in the Earth Class Mail UI.
  • We have enabled recipient specific private mailboxes for eligible accounts.

May 6th, 2020

  • We fixed several small usage bugs for the loading experience, folder deletion, and account cancellation.
  • We updated the styling of mail icons for consistency.

February 13th, 2020

  • Additional improvements have been made to the PDF viewer, particularly for viewing wide documents.
  • We also added better error reporting so that we can catch and resolve issues faster.

January 30th, 2020

  • The initial load for the pieces of mail list is much faster now.
  • We also made the action dropdown menus more consistent and less cluttered throughout the Earth Class Mail UI.
  • A series of bugs involving the actions that you can take on a piece of mail were resolved.

January 16th, 2020

  • The PDF viewer runs faster and it now displays the current page number (of total page count).
  • We fixed various bugs around small screen usability.
