Create your own datapoint in Beauhurst 🪢

The rubric in a partner's head, the scoring model built in Excel one Tuesday, the definition of a good fit that only your team uses — you can now turn any of them into a datapoint that lives in the platform, answered for every company on your list.

This is an early access release: live and usable now, with limits that will lift as we scale it up. Free to use until January 2027, with complimentary credits to spend across up to five datapoints.

Where to find it

Open a True Companies collection, click 'Add', and choose 'Generate new datapoint' · try it on a collection

Ask, check, preview, run

Say what you want to know about each company, and pick the shape of the answer: a category, a score, true/false, a number, or written text.

Beauhurst turns your question into a clearer, structured prompt and shows it back to you. Preview on 10 companies before committing, and refine as often as you like.

When it's right, choose how many companies to run it over and decide whether to keep it private or publish it to your team.

Every answer shows its reasoning and sources

The column lands alongside everything else you already use to size a list up. Click any value to see how it got there.

The question stays with the column

Open the prompt from the column header any time to see exactly what was asked.

Building the list has never been the hard part. Qualifying it against a datapoint we don't carry is. Now that step happens where the list already lives, consistently across every company, saved and reusable.

Manage all your datapoints in one place

You can see and manage all your datapoints from one Custom Data page in Settings.

The other Settings pages have had a visual refresh too. They have a cleaner layout and are easier to find your way around. Nothing about how your account, team, or alerts settings work has changed.

Good to know

Custom Data runs on True Companies collections. It reasons over Beauhurst's structured True Company data. A saved prompt can't be edited, so preview first. Free during early access. Learn more here.
