Now You Can Easily Manage Breakfast Offerings with Breakfast Report

We have some product updates to share with you. Our latest improvement, Breakfast Report, is designed to streamline your booking process and help you manage your hotel operations more efficiently.

With Breakfast Report, you can now set whether breakfast is included in your rate plans and quickly identify bookings with breakfast included using the new breakfast icon added to the dashboard page. Additionally, we have added a new filter option for in-house bookings to help you sort and print the breakfast report.

We believe this update will help you keep track of your hotel's breakfast offerings and improve your overall guest experience.

Now You Can View Your Account Summary by Month Range

Hello there!

We have some exciting news to share with all our valued clients! We've just improved our account summary reports feature that we think you're going to love.

Starting now, you can view your account summary reports by selecting any month range that suits you, as long as it's no larger than 12 months. This means you have greater flexibility and control over the data you want to see, allowing you to quickly and easily access the information that's most important to you.

Of course, if you prefer to stick with the traditional financial year format, you can still access that option via our handy shortcut. It's all about giving you more choices and making it easier for you to use Resly in a way that works best for you.

You Can Now Set Up Inspection Tasks For Rooms!

Hey there! We've got some exciting news to share with you! We've just launched a brand new feature in Resly PMS and the staff portal that will help you streamline your property operations.

With the Inspection tab in Resly PMS, you can create a to-do list for each room in your property. You can add descriptions, images, and more to make sure nothing gets missed. You can even change the order of tasks with a simple drag and drop!

We've also made it easy to assign default housekeepers and inspectors to each room. The default housekeeper/inspector can always view the housekeeping/inspection job in the staff portal, but can only start it if the job is not assigned to someone else and the room housekeeping status is clean.

To assign an inspection job, go to the Dashboard page and click on the Housekeeping tab. From there, you can easily assign pre-arrival checks to the inspector.

When the inspection is underway, your inspector can mark each task as done or leave it undone and add comments and images.

Inspectors can also view the inspection reports in the staff portal. This comes in handy if your inspector, let's say Kevin, finds an issue during an inspection. Kevin can check the last report made by Sarah to see if the issue was already reported.

Once the inspection is complete, you'll get a notification in Resly PMS. You can check the inspection history on the Rooms - Reports tab for each room or simply click the notification.

The Inspection tasks are also added to the housekeeping task in the staff portal. So your housekeepers can also easily mark tasks as done or undone and add comments. You can also view housekeeping reports from the Housekeeping Reports page or the room reports page in Resly PMS.

Reconciliation History Page Has a New Look!

The reconciliation history page just got a whole lot better! 

Now you can check payouts and download ABA files right from the summary tab - no more hunting through Cashbook page to find what you need. 

Plus, there's a new search function for reports that makes finding specific report a breeze. 

And you can even bulk send supplier statements! That means you can save tons of time and effort by communicating with multiple suppliers all at once. 


Bank feed Outage - Suncorp

Tuesday 4th April, 4pm - It looks like the issue hasn't been completly resolved. We have updated Suncorp and waiting on a fix.

Most connections are restored successfully but we are still monitoring the connection. 

~

There looks to be an outage with Suncorp and their bank feeds. If your account has been disconnected and the bank feeds are not updating, please send the latest transactions in a CSV file to support@resly.com.au. We can manually import the transactions so you can balance and roll end of month. 

Log into sunscorp online banking > select the trust account > click download transactions > file type is CSV > Date format as dd/mm/yyyy > All transactions > download. 


Now You Can Do Bulk Printing!

We have some exciting news to share with you! We have just added a bulk printing feature to Resly, making it super easy for you to print letters to multiple recipients. This feature is now available on several pages of our platform, including:

  • Dashboard: Arrivals, Departures, In-house, and New Bookings
  • Reservation List
  • Tenancy List
  • Accounts List

With the new bulk printing feature, you can now quickly print your email templates or write your own messages to multiple recipients.

To use this feature, simply go to the relevant page and select the bulk print option. Then, select the recipients and templates, and you're all set!

You Can Now Set a Reminder for Your Quotes

Now You Can Update Your Accommodation Total Price With Ease!

Hey there!

We wanted to give you a quick heads up about a cool new improvement we've added to our reservation page. Now, if you change the check in/out date, room type or rate plan for the reservation, you'll get a friendly price change alert! Plus, you can now update your new accommodation total price by simply ticking the checkbox - easy peasy!

Just a quick note though, if the charges have already been disbursed, you won't be able to change the price here. But no worries, you can always do it manually instead.

Now You Can Search When Adding New Reservations!

Hey everyone!

We are thrilled to announce a new improvement to Resly - a search box in the new reservation pop-up window. This feature allows you to quickly and easily find the reservation you're looking for by searching for specific room types and addresses. Plus, a tag filter is added for you to easily select room types with different tags.

To access the new Search box, simply click on the New Reservation button on the dashboard or new reservation page. The new reservation pop-up window will then appear, where you can enter your search criteria and find the room type you're looking for.

Calculate Extra Guest, Cleaning and Booking Fees in Resly

We are excited to announce a big change to fee calculation within Resly. 

For a lot of our holiday home group clients, cleaning and booking fees are separated from the accommodation total. This change will help a lot. 

For traditional resort clients, if cleaning and booking fees are paid by the owners, this may not be relevant so you can safely ignore this.

Set up cleaning/booking fees

Starting now, you will be able to set up different account codes, descriptions, and accounts for these fees under Settings / Room Types.


Fee calculation for direct bookings

When you create a new reservation, these fees will be calculated and added to the total cost, and can also be viewed as a breakdown table on the new reservation page.


Fee calculation for OTA bookings

Additionally, when reservations are dropped in from OTAs, the corresponding cleaning and booking fees for that room type will be automatically applied and can be found in the separated charge lines. 


Note that for channels like Booking.com, the total gross amount will be recorded and used to calculate agent rebates, which can also be adjusted manually. Just click the Accommodation line and make changes here if needed.
