Dear Crescendo Lab partners,

Due to the detection of abnormal activities involving a single account and IP address on 2024/08/03, the Crescendo team has followed ISO27001 information security emergency procedures and consulted with professional advisors to address the issue in order to fully protect the personal data and account security of the entire brand and its consumers and users.

We understand that some measures taken might affect your use of the MAAC/CAAC platform functions and Open API. However, for overall security considerations, please cooperate with the guidelines provided. We will do our best to assist you in using the MAAC/CAAC platform functions normally!

Below are the detailed measures related to your platform operations:

Measure 1: On 2024/08/04 at 00:47 am, a system update will prompt users to reset their passwords.

If you have a MAAC platform account or both MAAC & CAAC platform accounts (users with only CAAC platform accounts do not need to reset), the system will guide you to reset your password upon re-login. Please ensure to set a completely new password and do not use your old password.

Note: The password you set cannot be known or decrypted by anyone else (including the Crescendo system, which has no access rights). Please ensure that only you have access to your account to prevent unauthorized login activities.

To reset your password:

1. Click https://maac.cresclab.com/forget.
2. Enter your email registered with MAAC.
3. Check your inbox for the verification email.
4. Click the link (valid for 24 hours).
5. Reset to a new password (8 characters, must include both numbers and letters).

If you do not receive the verification email, please refer to this https://cresclab_cs.pse.is/6aj36x.

Measure 2: On 2024/08/04 at 01:15 am, the system restricted the import/export functions related to contacts on the MAAC platform and OpenAPI.

We restricted the following functions on 2024/08/04 at 01:15 am. After the information security department confirmed there were no security concerns, these functions were gradually restored:

• MAAC Open API: Get/Import Contact List, CDH Open API Import/Export Member (restriction period: 2024/08/04 01:15 am - 2024/08/04 12:30 pm)
• MAAC platform functions: Contact Information Page, Contact Import/Export, Segmentation Export, Awards Export (restriction period: 2024/08/04 01:15 am - 2024/08/04 05:04 pm)

Measure 3: The team plans to implement a 2FA login authentication mechanism and content review mechanism for LINE and SMS messages.

To enhance security, the team is planning to develop a two-factor authentication (2FA) login mechanism and content review mechanisms for LINE and SMS messages to ensure that each user can prevent unauthorized and unsafe login activities and to prevent malicious individuals from spreading fraudulent information.

處理措施（ 一）2024/08/04 00:47 am 系統更新請用戶重新設置密碼

煩請您有 MAAC 平台帳號、同時有 MAAC & CAAC 平台帳號用戶（ 單獨 CAAC 平台帳號用戶無須重置 ），在重新登入時，系統將引導您重置密碼，請務必使用全新密碼進行設定，請勿使用舊密碼。

註：您所設置的密碼如非本人是無法得知、解析的（ 漸強系統亦無權限 ）請確保只有您有權存取您的帳號，以防止未授權的登入活動

重置密碼方式為

1. 點擊 https://maac.cresclab.com/forget

2. 輸入您在 MAAC 的 email

3. 至信箱收驗證信

4. 點擊鏈接（ 24小時內有效 ）

5. 重置一個全新的密碼 8 位數需包含數字和英文

處理措施（ 二 ）2024/08/04 01:15 am 系統限制 MAAC 平台及 OpenAPI 與聯絡人相關的資料匯出匯入功能

我們在 2024/08/04 01:15 am 限制了以下相關功能，在資訊安全部門陸續確認安全性無疑慮後，已陸續恢復正常運作使用

• MAAC Open API - Get/Import Contact List、CDH Open API Import/Export Member（ 限制時間為 2024/08/04 01:15 am - 2024/08/04 12:30 pm ）
• MAAC 平台功能 - 聯絡人 聯絡人資訊頁、聯絡人 匯出/匯入、分眾 匯出、獎項 匯出（ 限制時間為 2024/08/04 01:15 am - 2024/08/04 17:04 pm ）

處理措施（ 三 ）團隊預計推行 2FA 登入驗證機制、推播 LINE 及 SMS 訊息內容審查機制

為了提升安全性，團隊預計已在規劃開發 2FA 登入雙重驗證機制，及 LINE 訊息、SMS 訊息內容的審查機制，以確保每位使用者可防止未授權不安全的登入行為，及預防有意人士進行詐騙不法資訊散佈。
