October 16th performance issues

On October 16th 14:38 PT we saw initial performance degradation that affected the speed of Greenline POS and began investigating immediately for the root cause.

  • At 14:51 PT the performance degraded across all Greenline actions due to the Database being backed up.
  • We restarted the database at 14:58 PT which resolved the backed up load

We continued to investigate the root cause and found irregular usage of payment queues which was immediately patched.

At Greenline we're always tirelessly working on improvements to the experience and stability, each and every week.

To ensure your product inventory is accurate, we recommend doing an audit as soon as possible to ensure your data is correct.

Please reach out if you see any issues. We will be continuing to investigate and reach out to stores individually for specific actions.

Thank you for your patience and our apologies for any inconvenience.

End of Month Audits

Hello everyone,

As the end of September quickly approaches I would like to remind you all that closing the month with negative inventory values is the largest contributor to compliance reporting issues.

To ensure that your compliance reporting goes smoothly, please remember to complete a full audit on all cannabis products before 11:59pm on September 30th. This audit will correct any inventory discrepancies and prepare you to submit an accurate compliance report to you provincial regulator.

*If you've made manual changes to the closing inventory values of your September compliance report, please remember that you will need to make the relevant adjustments to the opening inventory values for the month October when the time comes.

If you have any questions about compliance reporting please feel free to contact Customer Support and we'd be happy to help you out.
