We’re Ready for the Transition to GS1 DataMatrix Barcodes

The cannabis industry is transitioning to the new GS1 DataMatrix barcode standard, which offers several advantages, including improved scanning reliability, a smaller footprint on packaging, and the ability to encode more product information.

We’ve thoroughly tested these new barcodes with our supported scanners using both lot-tracked and non-lot-tracked products. All tests have been successful, ensuring a smooth transition for your operations.

The S720 scanner has not yet been tested, but we are actively working with Socket Mobile to secure a unit for testing. We’ll update you as soon as we have results.

We’re confident that this transition will be seamless for our customers. If you have any questions or concerns about how this change might affect your operations, don’t hesitate to reach out to our support team.

Thank you for your continued trust in us as your partner in the cannabis industry. We’re here to help every step of the way.
