As a follow up to our email a few weeks ago, all connections to HSBC that are still using Credential Sharing have now been disabled. You will be required to reconnect using Open Banking.

This is due to new regulations coming into force that require 2 factor authentication for bank logins, which prevents Credential Sharing from working.

Unfortunately, HSBC have not made Credit Cards or Savings Accounts available via Open Banking yet, so these are not supported as of right now. We will update customers when this happens.
