New release - Version 1.8.0

We will be pushing a big update tonight @ 10 pm Sydney time. 

We don't anticipate there will be any downtime and this update will not affect your live availability or rates. 

Version 1.8.0 will include

  • Housekeeping report improvements
  • Reverse actions 

Please refresh your browser first thing tomorrow morning and make sure you are on the latest version - 1.8.0

1 - Click the refresh icon on your browser - top left, next to the address bar. 

2 - Then check to see if you are on the new version. Click on your properties name (top right). You want to see <> Version 1.8.0


Invitation to participate - May/June Destination Gold Coast Campaign

Resly and Trip A Deal, in conjunction with Destination Gold Coast extend their invitation to to participate in the upcoming DGC Campaign Activity in May/June 2021. 

This campaign is not currently public knowledge and will target the Australian and New Zealand Markets with a maximum of 8 properties being promoted (selection based on availability, rooms to sell and the offer).

Quote update - Release 2

You will now see a "New Quote" button on the Dashboard or Calendar view page. It's like a mini direct booking engine within Resly. Great for making a quote on the phone or at reception.

Enter dates and guest counts, Resly will show you all the available rate plans. 

Click Quote and see the available rooms. You will see the notes from each room, occupancy and the availability before and after to help you make a better decision. 

Click Quote here will take you directly to the "New Reservation" page with all the details already filled in.


How to Quote in Resly

We have pushed an update which now allows properties to provide quotes (This is the first release). Adding a quote will temporally hold the room for a period and auto cancel if the quote is not converted into a booking. 

You should see a new 'Add Quote' button at the bottom of the Add Reservation tab. 

You have the option to hold the quote for 24 hours, 3,5 or 7 days. If the quote is not confirmed at the end of the chosen period the quote will expire and the room released back for sale. 

You can view all your active quotes in Reservations > Reservations List > Active Quotes.


New Integration - Accomms Least Wanted

Many of you have been requesting a black list for problem guests. The circulation of spreadsheets is in breach of personally identifiable information (PII) and consumer rights, so we have formed a partnership with Accoms Least Wanted (ALW) to give each property the option to protect their property whilst remaining compliant. 

ALW is an industry driven database and alert system that provides details of guests banned by other accommodation providers. The risk mitigation platform ensures better guests for better stays.

ALW's site provides real time alerts based on your own preference settings, you will receive alerts when other accommodation providers enter a banned guest to the ALW database. This also allows for Police to send out “Be On The Lookout” BOLO alerts.

Resly is the first PMS to adopt this product and our integrations means a property can easily report a rouge guest to the ALW database or search the ALW database to see if the guest matches any exisiting reports. 

Resly has made it super easy to search or report a guest from within the reservation.

Exclude guests from email communication

*updated* You can now flag a guest as 'do not contact' which will exclude then from any automated/scheduled email communication and warn you when sending an email to them. 

To activate, simply go into a reservation, click edit then tick the icon next to the email field in the reservation. 


Once activated, you will see red tags on the reservation.
