Exclude guests from email communication

*updated* You can now flag a guest as 'do not contact' which will exclude then from any automated/scheduled email communication and warn you when sending an email to them. 

To activate, simply go into a reservation, click edit then tick the icon next to the email field in the reservation. 


Once activated, you will see red tags on the reservation. 



New feature - Comfort Factor/Last Room Available

We now offer the the ability to hold back allotments from online channels. 

The feature is quite flexible, you can stipulate how many allotments you want each channel to have, down to room type level macro. 

Use case would be hold your last available room for each room type and only sell it direct. Or maybe you have guaranteed allotment with wholesalers and you want to reduce the risk of overbooking. 

You could also hold back last room availability from higher costing channels like AOT but leave it on OTA channels with lower commissions. 

This feature is only available in the back end, so if you would like to utilise this, please submit a support ticket by emailing support@resly.com.au and tell us how many allotment you would like to hold back, what room types and what channels.

Bulk email in house guests

We have pushed a quick update so hotels can quickly send an email in bulk from the Dashboard.

Use case: There is a cyclone warning and you need to notify guests. 

You can find the bulk email button in the following tabs.

  • Dashboard - Arrivals (Guests)
  • Dashboard - Departures (Guests)
  • Dashboard - In House (Guests)
  • In Tenancies (Tenants)
  • In Owner Accounts (Owners)

You can edit the recipients once you click the envelope 'email' icon. Click on number of recipients and then tick or untick before you send. 


Housekeeping - Split tasks for dual key rooms

When a parent room (dual key) has a departure clean task, you can choose to split the task into individual tasks for each child room. 

Use case: If you only clean one child room and the other remains dirty, you can split the departure clean task so the dirty room doesn't get missed. 



Tour Voucher Update

We have made some update to our tour voucher. 

  • New fields for Guest Name, No. Adults, Children, Payment (Hotel collect or Operator collect)
  • The voucher will have two copies (office and guest copy)



Quick Action - Stop sell today

We have introduced a new button - 'Close Today' gives you the ability to quickly send a stop sell for all room types and rate plans, for the current day only. Reservations > Rateplans. 

You can set up an automated same day cut off by emailing support. 


Add quantity in an owner charge

You can now select the quantity when adding an owner charge. 

The use case would be if you were replacing 4 x wine glasses. Instead of adding in one charge for $20, you can now set up the charge (in settings) called 'wine glass' with a $5 cost per unit and then apply the charge to the owners account as 4 x $5. 


Housekeeping Report v2

We have completely redone the Housekeeping reports. 

Housekeeping Report (Daily) - Dashboard

  • More details on the arriving guest including arrival time and bedding config. The printed report is also a lot cleaner. 
  • Handy notifications bar at the top that will identify any conflicting tasks - i.e a departure clean hasn't been marked as done, yet the guest has checked-in. 
  • Able to edit housekeeping notes and bedding config from within the report.
  • Clean, dirty and in-house tags shown.


Housekeeping Report (forecast) - Reports Tab

We have made some improvements here as well. You can change the view to 'table' (top right). This forecast should help with scheduling. 

"A" = Arrival, "D" = Departure, "DA" = Back to back, "S" = Service, "-" = Guest in house.
