New partnership with Escabags

Hi All, we are happy to announce we have partnered with Escabags, an Australian registered charity helping victims of domestic and family abuse. 

The initiative provides free 'Escape Bags' filled with the necessities that a victim may need when initially escaping an abusive or dangerous situation. 

Our partnership has been formed to help get 'Escape Bags' in as many hotels as possible across the country. 

There is no cost to be part of this initiative. The 'Escape Bags' themselves do not need to be on display; they can be kept safely in an office or cupboard. All that we ask is that you kindly display a small poster at reception or on a noticeboard to ensure those in your community are aware that you have them available should a victim require one.

The 'Escape Bags' are provided complete and will be sent via our courier partner, so there is absolutely no cost to you.

Average Charges Report

Some of you might find these stats interesting. The average cleaning and commission charges for the Sunshine Coast and TNQ. As we continue to expand we will hopefully have more data points to look at and share. 


Bulk email in house guests

We have pushed a quick update so hotels can quickly send an email in bulk from the Dashboard.

Use case: There is a cyclone warning and you need to notify guests. 

You can find the bulk email button in the following tabs.

  • Dashboard - Arrivals (Guests)
  • Dashboard - Departures (Guests)
  • Dashboard - In House (Guests)
  • In Tenancies (Tenants)
  • In Owner Accounts (Owners)

You can edit the recipients once you click the envelope 'email' icon. Click on number of recipients and then tick or untick before you send. 


Buy now, pay later EOI

We are in talks with some Buy Now, Pay Later providers, think AfterPay. We would like to gage our users interest in this as a potential payment offering for direct bookings. 

  • Offer guests flexible payment when booking direct. Payment split over 4 - 6 weekly payments
  • No risk for the hotels, You’ll get paid right away while customers spread the cost and provider takes the debt risk. 
  • Improve direct booking offerings by having a flexible payment option
  • Increased average booking value/length of stay due to interest free payment option. 
  • Low merchant fees, will be around 1% 
  • Completely integrated within Resly, so no extra or manual work for Buy now, Pay Later bookings.
