Reporting improvements

Financials reports

The following new columns have been added:

  • Taxes (broken down by individual tax)
  • Gift card sales
  • Penny adjustments
  • Total
  • Cost
  • Profit

We understand that users have had to piece together values from different reports to get the following information all in one export. This report brings in all remaining fields into the general financials report. This also means that the old "Growth" report will be getting phased out this coming February.

Products/categories on-hand reports

The following have been added:

  • Date filters (view your historical inventory quantities)
  • Costs now use historical costs. For example, if your cost is currently $10, but it was $8 in December, your December on-hand costs will be calculated at $8.
  • Retail values are based on current prices

Purchase order reports

Previously, the reports only broke down the top 30 products purchased. The limit has been lifted, meaning that you can now export a report of all products and the amount purchased.

We hope this quality-of-life improvements can improve your day-to-day reporting tasks. Please leave a note down below with further improvements you'd like to see.

Product edit history logs [UPDATED]

Update

Product edit history logs have also been added to the product list page. Now, managers can see who's editing products when they're away from the store. Look for the "Edit history" button next to the green "Add product" button.

Original post

To provide store managers with high levels of visibility and accountability into their stores, we've added the ability to see your edit history for products.

When you edit a product, you'll notice a new tab called "edit history." Clicking on it will show the following information:

  • Who made the update.
  • When did the update happen.
  • Which fields were updated.
  • For some fields, show the previous to new value.

BC ASN's suspended by BCLDB

Hello Greenliners!

The BC LDB has decided to suspend the BC ASN's for the time being. Don't fret! We are working on an excel upload version so you can still quickly import a purchase order. This will pull all the same, relevant information as the BC ASN's and more!

Invoice payment update

Hello beloved customers! We have switched our customer payment processing over from Merrco to QuickBooks. If you previously had automated payments set up with us, you may need to contact us to set it up again as we do not store credit card information in our files.

Please contact us if you would like to automate your invoice payments. If you are happy paying month-to-month or year-to-year through our emailed QuickBooks invoice's, then please disregard this announcement. Sorry for any inconvenience and happy new year!

Happy holidays from the Greenline team!

As 2019 comes to an end, I wanted to show my sincere appreciation to all of our customers.

When we started back in 2018, we were a small technology business servicing 20 stores. Our focus was making sure that we serviced stores the best we could during those tumultuous times. Business owners experience a lot of anxiety - loans, rent, staffing, unexpected surprises, competition, self-doubt, business partners - and the uncertainty of the cannabis industry certainly did not help. As someone who experiences anxiety as well, I truly saw it as my job to put in my all to make sure retailers did not experience more than they needed to.

We've grown to service 100+ stores by the end of 2019, but the way we think has not changed.

Our job is far from over, with so many exciting features and new offerings scheduled for 2020. Our promise to our customers has always been that we will grow with you through thick and thin, through any challenge the industry may throw at us.

Thank you for letting us be part of that ride.

Sincerely,
Albert Kim
CEO
