We've consistently heard from our customers that inventory management is never a fully solved problem. The moment you feel that you have it under control, something else shows up, there is a new fire, and your processes don't feel adequate anymore.
At Greenline, we want to help be a part of the solution. We want to be sure that we're always pushing the boundaries of retail technology and best practices. That's why we are announcing (exclusively to our customers) a Q1 2020 release of what we call Greenline Pocket.
The core foundations of the app are simple
- It should minimize the need for managers to run back and forth to their PCs and storage rooms (purchase orders, transfers, etc.).
- It should encourage users to check and count their inventory more frequently to be more accurate (audits).
- Everything should be scannable.
We will be rolling this out to a limited set of stores for beta testing. When Greenline Pocket exits its beta stage, we intend for it to be a monetized add-on, on top of current subscriptions. Look forward to that during Q1 2020.
