Cloudflare Certified Optimized Partner
We just wanted to let you know that Web Hosting Magic is a Cloudflare Certified Optimized Partner and that we do provide to all of our valued customers the ability to enable Cloudflare’s free plan across their websites.
Cloudflare is a performance and security solution that protects and accelerates over 12,000,000 websites around the world.
It means that now that your Web Hosting Magic account is active, you can get all the benefits the service provides including Railgun.
Railgun ensures that the connection between your cPanel server and the Cloudflare network is as fast as possible that it makes a website appear to be hosted close to web surfers is key in accelerating web surfing. It compresses previously uncacheable web objects up to 99.6% by leveraging techniques similar to those used in the compression of high-quality video.
This results in an average 200% additional performance increase.
Normally, this is only available to Cloudflare Business and Enterprise customers or to other Cloudflare customers at $200 per month, Web Hosting Magic as a Cloudflare partner offers Railgun to all of our Cloudflare-enabled customers free of charge.
Once your website joins the Cloudflare network, you’ll also notice considerable performance gains and protection against a range of online threats.
To start using Cloudflare, you’ll need to log into your control panel and find the Cloudflare icon.
After clicking this icon, follow the provided steps to activate Cloudflare.
Before integrating your domain or website with Cloudflare global network, please do ensure that the domain you are trying to add is not already tied to another Cloudflare account.
This generally happens to users that signed up to Cloudflare through a different hosting provider, then try to sign up through Hostragon with a different account.
You must remove the domain from the old account before adding it with these steps below.
To remove the domain from the old account:
1. Login to the Cloudflare account that the domain was originally added to.
2. Go to Settings for the domain.
3. Go to DNS settings.
4. Remove the connection to the hosting provider using the red button.
If you unable to do that, please contact the Cloudflare support team at https://support.cloudflare.com/hc/en-us/requests/new.
And as mentioned above, we’re pleased to provide Cloudflare’s service to you for free.
