Housekeeping Report v2

We have completely redone the Housekeeping reports. 

Housekeeping Report (Daily) - Dashboard

  • More details on the arriving guest including arrival time and bedding config. The printed report is also a lot cleaner. 
  • Handy notifications bar at the top that will identify any conflicting tasks - i.e a departure clean hasn't been marked as done, yet the guest has checked-in. 
  • Able to edit housekeeping notes and bedding config from within the report.
  • Clean, dirty and in-house tags shown.


Housekeeping Report (forecast) - Reports Tab

We have made some improvements here as well. You can change the view to 'table' (top right). This forecast should help with scheduling. 

"A" = Arrival, "D" = Departure, "DA" = Back to back, "S" = Service, "-" = Guest in house. 


Agent comments

We have made some changes to how agent comments are displayed. These changes are live and will only apply to new bookings made from Wednesday 11th Nov @ 12.30. 

The room type/category booked, any booking requests, the deposit policy and cancellation policy from the agent will be hidden and visible by clicking the speech bubble. 

Public comments can be added into your email, SMS and letter templates by using the new merge field {{COMMENTS}}. 


UI upgrades for assigning rooms/adding reservations

Now when assigning a room you will see a slightly different drop-down menu. Occupied nights pre and post-stay displayed along with monthly occupancy. These changes will help properties reduce gaps between bookings and identify back-to-back stays. 

Unavailable rooms - greyed out and unable to select

Red dates - the room is occupied 

White dates - the room is empty 

Adding a reservation manually has the same dropdown. You can now select the room type/category first, then it will give you the available rooms to choose from. 


Credit Card Vault Updates

New look vault

Can save multiple cards against each booking (a guest card, virtual card etc)

Can save cards against a guest profile and it will populate into all their bookings (except OTA bookings with a VCC)

Groundwork done for auto-populating cards from agents into Resly (Scheduled for mid-Nov release)


Invoice Improvements

Improvements to invoice feature now live. 

You can send invoices from Resly

You can pay off reservations from within the invoice. 

Once you have issued the invoice, you will see 'Send Email' and 'Pay Invoice'

Send Invoice will email the invoice as an attachment to the email address attached to the agent or company. 

Pay Invoice will allow you to receipt payment to each booking from one screen. 


Update: Adhoc tariff item in disbursement

Disbursement is now more flexible. You can now manually add a tariff item in the accommodation disbursement. Great if you have receipted everything under accommodation, you can now go into the disbursement and add an item instead of reversing the receipt and adding it. 


Update: Extension/Upgrade feature

Thanks for everyone's feedback. You can now easily extend or upgrade a booking. 

You will now see a new drop-down menu in a guests booking. 

Extension/upgrade - use this to process an upgrade or extend a booking. You can select a different agent from the one that originally made the booking. So a guest that may have booked through booking.com wants to extend their stay directly with you, by selecting agent as 'direct' the cost of the extension won't be included in the booking.com commission calculation.
